Huge win for Houston! Rocket fans have to be satisfied with this trade.

Good luck to BK trying to make these egos work

Why on earth did the Rockets throw away the talent in the trade? He's a future all star.

So basically 2 of the big 3 have to get hurt in the next few years for those picks to mean anything?

The Rockets should have gotten more young talent back but once again a star forced his way to a team of his choosing.

It was a terrible hire anyways. Not because Nash isn't going to be a great coach but it's never a good idea to hire a rookie head coach when you have a veteran team. Especially with the personalities they have on that team.

Tillman Fertita still shaping up to be the worst owner in the league. Literally torn down a perennial play off team in three years

KD, Irving, Harden. What a collection of divas. Nash's days are numbered. I say by end of the season.

nothing you can do, when the star player comes in 30 lbs overweight, dont wanna play and throw teammates under the buss.

or

goes 0-27 from 3 in conference finals and gag away in the playoffs in general.

its easy to blame the owner. the owner did everything in his power to keep the star happy. thats how the NBA works, when you have players like harden or kyrie an owner or GM can only do so much.

also dont even think about handing out that title to your owner, when we have Dolan, ok?
im bout dat action boss

Tillman Fertita shaping up to be a great owner after this. Rarely do front offices pull the trigger on a failed superstar early enough, they all drag it on for a few more 1st round exits and playoff ticket revenue. Congrats to Rockets fans for starting your rebuild with jet fuel.

If Oladipo, Tucker and Gordon are healthy and playing well they are also great trade pieces to pick up young players and more picks.

Seems the oladipo ending contract is more important for Houston

The Cavs flat-out have the best center collection with Drummond, JaVale McGee, Thon and Jarrett Allen... holy ****.

One of 2 of those guys will be traded or flipped for pick sooner or later.

BTW- Does New Jersey have great strip clubs???? Only way to keep Harden happy and entertained

This isn't the 90's. All 3 of those guys are pretty much useless in today's NBA. There's a reason why Drummond got traded for a bag of popcorn and a diet coke.

So basically the Rockets traded Westbrook for Wall with Westbrook being the better player and Harden for Oladipo with Harden being the better player.

It seems like the Rockets didn't want to do a complete rebuild and will end up being mediocre for the next 5 years before they have no choice but to do a complete rebuild. That front office really set the franchise back 10 years unless one of those 1st round picks becomes a lottery and they end up with a superstar. Highly doubtful though.

Trading Harden is a + for Houston. His comments yesterday should be all you need to see that. Oladipo is a great talent and a model teammate. Houston should pay him long-term and be better for it. Let’s not forget they also essentially received 9 first round picks (I’m counting the pick swaps) today alone.

Westbrook was a disaster in Houston and hasn’t done squat in Washington thus far. Wall has looked solid, wants to be there, and they got a first round pick out of the deal.

Wall, Oladipo and Wood are a solid trio to have on the floor. If Cousins stops being a knuckle head, they could really have something. Silas now has a fresh group to instill his philosophies and game schemes, and the Rockets should respond well.
