LeBron's superteam trend has evolved into that monster in Brooklyn. But it will probably be more pressure on them compared to LeBron and even when the Warriors had their run with KD. And the way Kyrie has been a wildcard lately, I wonder how this will work?

The Rockets getting Oladipo in this deal makes their roster still pretty good. If everyone can stay healthy and get good contributions from the bench, they should be in the mix for the playoffs.

God damn, we could trade for Jarrett Allen! That would be easily duable!!! Come on AK, Allen is much better center than WCJ.

If you're the Rockets wouldn't you rather have Levert than Oladipo? Oladipo is a free agent after this season while Levert is two years younger with two years left on his deal at 18 million per.
Losing to get high draft picks and hoping they turn into franchise players is not some next level, genius move. That's what teams want to happen in any rebuild/tank or whatever you want to market it as.

I agree, I don't like the Nets losing him and I would rather have him if I'm the Rockets. Levert could be really good if being handed the keys.

I like Allen and would have loved to snag him.

I think Fertitta is cheap and Oladipo is expiring.

It will be interesting to see the talent on BRK meshes. The certainly have the big guns to stand up to Lebron/Davis. Not sure what they have in terms of interior size though. I'm glad another team is on the horizon that can block James.

It's the Rockets way of coming out of the trade with a "star" player. LeVert is not seen as such yet, Oladipo is an injury filled season removed from being a star player.

They're the all injury team.

Cav's waived Maker. Would be an upgrade over Felicio if we buy him out.

The Bulls are not going to eat Felicio salary and pay for another end of the bench body unlikely to receive many minutes which only increases their payroll.

We're 23rd in the NBA in payroll. They can increase payroll.

Agreed, They can/should increase payroll to make large improvements but Not for backend of the roster players.

Felicio will be on the roster until the trade deadline at the minimum. His salary may still be useful for trades.

I think this is the beginning of the Rockets basically turning into another Kings/Wolves. A terrible owner who's both cheap and a meddler.

Depends on what they do with Dipo.

Wall playing (and shooting) pretty well, Exum behind him,

Dipo, backed up by Gordon and McLemore

The rockets current cast of rotation 3s,

Tucker, Wood, Cousins...

Not so terrible this season and between Dipoif resigned, Wood, picks, and any value they can get for Wall....

Wall really hasn't been good. People got excited because of the first game, but he has fallen off quite a bit. Oladipo has never been anything special except for one season. Cousins is completely washed. PJ Tucker is 35 and basically just power forward Bogans at this point.

And now they don't have D'Antoni either, who was absolutely maximizing the talent on that team with how they played, no matter what you might think about the aesthetics of it.

Christian Wood might legitimately be their best player. And that's a very, very bad thing.

People are pissed off at what Harden said, but he was absolutely right. That roster's outlook is horrible. Playing together more was not gonna make things better, it was just gonna be a bunch of old guys getting more tired.

Didn't Kyrie cry about being Robin to LeBron's batman? How is he going to feel now that he is Alfred?
