Fingers crossed Pat continues to hit 60% of his threes and do nothing else.

Meh, the Bucks know they can beat the Pistons mostly just by showing up. I don't think you can use anything from this one as a measuring stick of how they are going to fare against better competition.

We went up 20 then hit the snooze button. There's no meaningful takeaway you can have from this game lol.

I'm totally convinced the ball needs to be in the hands of Jrue Holiday when it really matters.

What has changed in our play style that has driven fewer rebounds for Giannis?

60% of the time, he hits them every time.

I also just hope that we're using these early games against lower opponents to help the team come together quicker. Better against these guys than trying to figure out how to play together against the games that we need everyone to fire together.

Blake is really cooked. He’ll hang around the league I guess but wonder if he can reinvent himself into a useful role player/bench piece once his max is up.

More efficient offense that doesn’t always have Giannis barreling all the way to the rim? More switching on D so he isn’t always standing at the rim with Brook?

I have noticed him leaking out some on D when the miss won’t be near him as Jrue does love throwing a full court outlet.

Our defense is not as good as it used to be = less defensive rebounds for us

What does he offer on offense now with his old man game? ISO scoring? What did he ever offer on D?

I would say to give that time. Jrue is trying to push them to switch more and a bunch of new players have to learn to play together.

That and the bench going from an elite D group (Hill-DDV-Ersan-Robin) to (DJA-Forbes-DJW-Portis) didn’t help. Hopefully that is mitigated by a stronger top of the roster playing more minutes if there is a playoffs this season.

Agreed. But so far we average 36.7 defensive rebounds per game. Last year it was 42.2

Our starting unit would be sick if we had a dude who could move like Portis but was good.

Cooked is an understatement. Dude can barely take three steps without falling over. He needs a retirement home.

Middle of the 4th quarter was fun to watch.

Giannis sits and Jrue just takes over. He took over the game. I loved his control, his pace, and just created his own shots. So cool and confident.

If there was anything to take away from that game, it was watching Jrue in command and take control.

We have never had a point guard who could do that. (hill was steady and helpful but Jrue is next level). If he can be that in a playoff game, he's worth everything we spent to bring him here.

With 3-4 minutes left I was actually rooting for 120-104 harder than Giannis triple double. Then they missed a few and I knew it was out of reach... But consolation was Giannis.

You guys are terribly spoiled. There were post game threads with 50 different types of celebration and masturbation gifs after his triple double.

Now it's not even mentioned! Not even a mention!!

Giannis a triple double, holiday with a sweet 4th quarter, Forbes sharp shooting turned on and even patty C wasn't bad... And this thread is the most 'meh' post game thread ever.

Edit: just noticed Holiday had 37 minutes. Thats not normal Bud.
