The Nets just acquired an MVP candidate to go with another MVP candidate on top of another star. They just put together the blueprint to win in the NBA. Maybe they don't put it together year one like the Lakers did but they sure as hell have a better outlook then when they had Caris LeVert and some picks.

I agree with you from am asset management standpoint but the potential time bomb of personalities is not even close to lebron and ad.

If Kyrie leaves to become a shaman and KD blows up his achilles again they could trade James Harden and probably get back 90% of the value they gave up. I'd also assume all these guys are on board before you trade for James Harden.

They had Anthony Davis. So a big. Which is one more than the Nets.

I'm sick and tired of the DeAndre Jordan disrespect :lift:.

Haha I was just going to edit my post to say McGee was better than Jordan. I'm guessing you disagree. :D

What about Dwight who is just a better version of DAJ?

Rondo and Dwight signed up after they got AD, which happens a lot more often when you have a couple MVP candidates on your team.

Or one MVP like Rondo did w/ LAL in 2018.

Nets had to do it to secure Durant’s future in Brooklyn.

Seems like a big loss for Houston that they didn’t get a young star. Oladipo does not count.

I wonder what Morey’s final offer really was. Also Denver.

I actually think Philly matches up with them the best.

As I said earlier, Giannis is going to absolutely destroy them. I think we match up great with them. Our 3 best defenders go on their 3 best players.

This was the worst possible outcome IMO. I don't see anybody beating Brooklyn.

I absolutely can see Kyrie beating the Nets. Unless they have the foresight to move him for rotational pieces, which I doubt they do because everyone is obsessed with having a Big Three.

Yeah, I was gonna say defensively Philly matches better but we look better overall.

I ultimately think Kyrie submarines the team though. He & Harden will clash at some point.

Bucks matchup very well with that Nets team (Holiday on Irving, DDV on Harden, Midds on Harris, Giannis on Durant) and Nets have nobody that can check Giannis. I don’t know, they look to be awful on D. Bucks are good on both sides.
