The problem? Paul George went back to a top 10 player arguably... but Kawhi and Zubac are playing at way lower impact than last year. We needed last year's Zubac+Kawhi WITH this level of PG. Batum has helped offset some of it, but it's frustrating. If those guys showed up more we'd have a record like the Lakers and not be 8-4.

The problem with that is, George has strictly become a jump shooter at this point in his career, continuing the trend from past season. So far this season, only 8.5% of his shots came from 0-3 FT which is a career low by a good margin. Hopefully, he is just riding his hot shooting to start the season and will start to attack the rim more often because there's just no way he sustains shooting 50%+ from the 3.

He just looks slow, and not very explosive. I would take Middleton over him for the decision making and craftiness. So far Paul George has 15 dunks as a clipper . That’s concerning for a guy who is basically power forward sized

Paul George has looked great, even MVP level, to start multiple seasons. He traditionally fades away mid/late in the season..Until he breaks that trend I’m inclined to believe that will happen again. The Clippers will need this level of production to succeed for sure.

Kawhi Leonard, and his lack of leadership, playmaking skills, rim protection in conjunction with his regressed defense has been bulletproof this whole Clipper run and is the reason the Clippers are the paper tigers they are.
