The 2018 Warriors were literally better. KD (pre-injury), Steph and Klay and they of course won a couple rings.

The Nets big 3 are all head cases to varying degrees and there's as big a chance as one of them going AWOL as them winning a ring.

Prior to the 2018 Warriors there were of course other Big 3s that were better.

On paper they're easily the best trio right now. But chemistry is a thing, so who knows how it pans out.

Talent wise yes, but in terms of basketball fit no.

Giannis + Middleton + Holiday fit better basketball wise.

Lebron AD Schroeder also fit well.

You would be dissapointed as f*** if this trio meets KD - Harden - Kyrie trio in Playoffs. It will be a murder in favour of Nets.

On paper, I think the Nets are better than the KD warriors, but Warriors are a much better fit with Klay who doesn't need the ball

Three ball dominate players with a history of poor attitudes. One on a team is manageable if the rest of the team curtail to them (Steph, Klay and Green did for KD). Three Diva's fighting for the spotlight is going to be a disaster.

And we haven't even started talking about non-existant backcourt defense.

On paper you have three ball dominate stars, two of which are extremely poor on defense. On paper you have two guards that both want to volume shoot, and a center that is way past his prime. On paper there is very little coming off of the bench.

On paper GWS were probably the greatest team of all time. The way they complemented each other was perfect in theory and pretty good in practice. They had a great bench, and aside from KD, players that wanted to win for the benefit of the team, no egos.

If Kyrie actually plays and is healthy in the playoffs, yes this is by far the best trio. The offensive fit won't be much of an issue either. There is no Chris Bosh or Kevin Love here. All three of these guys can create their own shot or a shot for others at will. These guys will all average no lower than 24 points per game. Kyrie theoretically has to take the biggest backseat, but I don't anticipate his role changing that much. He was going to play more off ball with Spencer Dinwiddie anyway. Harden is just too talented to fail ultimately. KD and Kyrie are incredibly malleable scorers. They're literally elite at all three levels and they don't really need to get into rhythm. More than any other players I've ever seen, they can "heat up" in any context at any time because of their fast shotmaking capability. Harden I don't think is as versatile when it comes to making shots, but he can get to the line at will and is the best playmaker and the most prolific scorer out of the three. (Imagine when Dinwiddie gets back next year? Sheesh).

KD is back to being one of the world's five best players, probably top 3. I see this really as insurance for Kyrie more than anything else. If you get a buyout Center and a Trevor Ariza, this team will no doubt get to the finals whether Kyrie comes or not. If Kyrie comes back (it's wild how up in the air this is lol) then they've got a great chance to win the Chip. I still give it to the lakers though. Pelinka was so smart to stock up on talent because they'll need greatness from everyone to beat the nets. Last year's roster wouldn't really stand a chance. Dennis Schroder and Trezz together with two solid 3&D wings can approximate an all-star third option. Kuzma can step up and get hot, I still think THT can get to another level by end of season. Lakers just need a rim-protecting backup center.

In today's NBA, perhaps, on paper. Funny thing is they just don't play games on paper.

Of all time? Not even close.

Looking at the trio and their skills...not the entire team. Klay makes the difference on defense, but I'd say Kyrie can play better or at least the same D as Curry. And Harden's post defense is actually decent.

2 MVPs in their prime and an all star, also in his prime.. sky's the limit if they figure out how to play with each other.

T-H-T are better...

Seriously though, of course they're the best "trio"... right now... As long as Kyrie is still a basketball player.
