I’d feel good about the Bucks against the Nets if they add one, ideally two legit playoff rotation wing/forwards off the bench and we could completely eliminate all Forbes/Thanasis minutes. Pat is better than I gave him credit for but I still don’t want him playing come postseason. Really hope they can somehow add Tucker and/or Ariza

I wouldn't be so confident in beating them just yet. Midds should be the main defender on KD. I don't think KD is a good matchup for Giannis at all and we need to let him roam/help as much as possible. Kyrie will have his way with Donte too. Giannis should get whatever he wanted offensively but what happens when they show him bodies and late doubles on post ups?

KD is porcelain, won’t make it 50 games before snaps something, put a fork in the scorer..

Only if OKC adds the first round pick.

I have no idea how the Swamp Dragons got Harden and still managed to dump Taurean Prince and his horrifying 14m/15m the next 2 years to offset salary.

I wasn't a big Allen fan coming into the year but he has been really good this year.

Cle has 7 guys that play C. WTF?

Brooklyn is the team to beat, the upside is that the Bucks don't have that extra pressure of being the field favorite

So most of you think that the Nets can't guard anybody and we are good matching up against them ? You have a point and I get it , BUT you seem to forget that the Defense that kills US is actually a Zone Defense with a Wall in front of Giannis. So they will indeed guard nobody but on a D that is scheduled that way. I wish our 3pt Shooting and Jrue will get us to the Finals but I am not optimistic cause it's too early (and Merrill & Nowra aren't getting minutes).

I can't imagine Kyrie being pleased he's suddenly the third option. Brooklyn is going to be a circus methinks. That's a lot of fragile egos in one locker room.

Ιf I'm the Nets right now I'm trading Kyrie for Simmons. Get some defense happening and a pass first guy who doesn't want the ball, and get rid of the crazy, all in one go. Harden and KD get along from the OKC days, they'll figure it out. Kyrie I'm not sure what he gets along with.

Sixers get better too.

No way Morey wants Kyrie. Morey is usually good at his job.

Also if I'm the Bucks I'm offering Brook and change for Joe Harris. Harris > Bogdanovic and the Nets need a big.

Kyrie is next level difficulty but the beard didn't seem too easy to deal with either.
And the Sixers need a legit scorer.

What Houston got from Nets is really really great package. With Irving being crazy, Harden being fat and crazy and KD being injury prone those picks and swaps could all be high. Best gambling ever.

But I dont understand their deals with Pacers and Cavs. Bucks pick is wortless and Oladipo is expiring basicly.

No no no, I am sure Nets Big 3 will jell fine moving forward. They have Harris,Jordan and they have Steve Nash and D'Antoni as assistant. I think their starters have already played together as the exact same lineup in Team USA. They have 60 games to find their chemistry, but they are top tier players, they have experience and especially they have the desire to prove themselves. I mean if our 3s don't fall, they can easily drop +40 points on us

It would force the Bucks to go full switch all the time and the Nets would have to be tempted for interior help and to bring home their prodigal son.

About Nets defense......well, Harden can play defense when he wants. Durant can play it too. They are intelligent persons and in playoffs they will make smart decisions. Also, this year I watch much more NBA. Past few seasons I would watch only the Bucks but this year I watch everybody. One or two games per day really. I used to criticize Bucks drop defense and how we protect paint too much and leave 3 point line open. But now I see that EVERYBODY do that in modern basketball. Really guys, its how defense is played nowadays. Soon enough everybody will play with 2 PG, 2 SG/SF and 1 PF and everybody will play zone and protect paint and it will be 3 point competition (it is already). I think we all still think the way we learned to think in past. But defense is now really "all in paint and let them shoot" and offense is "they will be in paint and we will shoot better".

Long storry short: The NBA has become "who will shoot better" league. And the Nets now have 2 of the best shooters in NBA. Still, Irving will hurt them for sure. I say, if they find a way to get anything for Irving they will win at east (Lakers are still best team in NBA). But if they keep Irving they will fail in playoffs.
