Yeah Shamet was 3-7 from deep tonight, he's starting to turn it around. Up to 30% from 3 after an awful start when he couldn't hit anything.

Bruce Brown is such a steal man. Such amazing impact from the get go. He can handle, finish and defend amazingly well. Great energy. He doesn't need to shot 3 at all. We have enough 3pt shooters. Nash need to start him instead of Harris imo because with Harden being there starting, the offense with starters will be crazy already and better defense will be needed. Brown will help with that. Plus Harris will get to shoot more coming off the bench and Harden will surely feed him a lot of dimes when they play together.

Obviously the team will need a new center but Perry honestly looked nice in this game. The whole team actually played nice and I'm feeling the Harden trade will fire this team up even more.

I would think he'd be available for the Orlando game, but I could be wrong. Depends how long the physicals and league approval takes.

I don’t think he will debut until the Cleveland series...against Jarrett Allen.

Yeah I think Brown needs to start. He doesn't need the ball to score and his energy on the glass and defensively will be a good balance, and that gives us two plus defenders at the 2 and 4.

Irving/Brown/Harden/Durant/Jordan
Cheese/Johnson/TLC/Green/Perry

Marks needs to hit the free agent market.

Joe Harris is shooting 50% from 3 and we are adding James Harden next to him.

I would consider even going small with Harris AND brown with KD at the 5

Kyrie
Brown
Harris
Harden
KD

how do you guard that?

Yeah and Kyrie's D has been excellent to start the year. You left Shamet off your depth chart as well, add him to that bench. Perry looked good, but small sample. With DJ being inconsistent id feel better with the MLE bringing in another proven center.. but it may also be smart to save the MLE for when buyouts happen and better talent is available.

Brown is that shumpert type who needs minutes with this group. start, sit, whatever just give me 22-25+ minutes of that guy somehow.

DJ looked good. Mitch Robinson is a beast, i expected DJ to get obliterated. he did well. good sign. maybe not worrying about if he will start or not will help?

Great game... always good to smash the knicks. LOL @ them when they said Randle > KD. this was KDs "worst" game...

26/6/3/2 on 10-18. absurd.

DJ looked good
Shamet looked good
Brown continued to play well

Great game after a great trade. unreal.

we have the 3 best isolation scorers in the NBA. maybe the 3 best ever.

Nah I had a complete brain fart:

Starters:

Irving/Brown/Harden/Durant/Jordan

subs: Harris, Shamet, Johnson, TLC, Green.

You figure Perry will get spot minutes but we definitely need to hit the market for some help.

At least two of or one of Irving, Harden and Durant will be on the floor at the same time, which is frightening for opposing defenses.

Imagine we sub KD and Kyrie out and leave Harden in at PG with the 2nd unit with Joe Harris and Shamet on the wings. LMAO

Some people are saying we "lost our depth" but dont realize that one of Harden/Kyrie/KD will be on the floor at all times. we actually have insane elite super depth. We replaced levert with harden essentially. if levert was great depth what is harden?

Harden was scoring champ/MVP vs. starters. what do you think he is doing to someones bench?

Allen is the only real depth we lost, which sucks, but it was at C, which is lower value and replaceable.

We won't really know till the end of the season. Nash will 100% experiment with different lineups. For now, either Brown or Harris will start alongside KI, KD, JH, DJ.

I think we could also go super small depending on the matchups and go with a starting lineup of Kyrie-Harris-Harden-Durant-Green.

There's no defending that lineup. Green and KD would need to step up defensively though.

I prefer saving that line up as our death line up.

Irving and Brown gives us a lightning fast backcourt that compliments each other. Brown creates a lot of chaos defensively and helps on the glass, and he can jump start a lot of fast breaks.

Give me Irving, Brown, Harden, Durant, Jordan. Elite scoring and two guys in KD and Brown that are disruptive defensively

My guess is that Green is the 5th starter just for some extra size. With Brown possibly taking his spot if there's a tough backcourt matchup. Harris is the 1st guy off the bench. KD has had zero issues defending 3s - which I thought was gonna be a problem heading into the year. It's been the opposite.
