They might have improved offensively but defensively, they have a long way to go.

Feels like every other season we come out of the gates hot. Then in December/January (in a normal season) is when we'd come back to earth.

I think the 2017-2018 messed us up a lot. From 2012-2020, we’ve had 3-7 or 4-6 starts for the first 10 games, 2015-2016 we were 5-5 but we were 6-4 in 2017 (4-1 in the first 5 games). I think the thought of having hot starts is due to that year.

I think most are happy to run it back next year with the majority of this roster if we bottom out and add a top 3 pick to the roster along with Fultz, Okeke and Isaac. So important we add another high pick whilst we are like this on the injury front. I think the two most important trades to make are Evan and Ross. Both should get us first rounders and that takes away all our scoring to ensure we finish with one of the worst records.

Even without the injuries the magic would still be bad. They weren't that good last year and they brought back the same exact roster. You can't expect different results with the same squad.

I don't care about Most Improved, I want to see Executive of the Year (starting today)...make a trade, do your job. Such a funky season, time for the very shrewd to shine or be exposed as chickens**t.
