Who's the liar?

First you post the Epoch times and the Gateway Pundit?...... what’s next? InfoWars?

Again, this is from NOVEMBER

The brother also happens to be a Proud Boy, the same which Rudy Giuliani accidentally tweeted his text message exchange with earlier today.

These brothers have been flagged by activist groups for many months as, as best, grifters.

FWIW, they'd easily be a powerful country on their own.

You people cannot be foolish enough to think this would ever be allowed to happen.

Why would that be so shocking? That's the history of nations.

Just assuming they attempt to secede from the US.... do you truly believe the entire state does so? Texas would break apart.

The only ones that benefit are the outside groups that have been pushing this on multiple states for the past 5ish years.... the foreign adversaries that wish to inflict damage on the country without traditional military.

Seems like if he is BLM or Antifa it’s only in his own mind. From his background and actions it’s more likely he’s trying to discredit BLM and Antifa, rather than the other way around.

No. They wouldn't. Let them pay for an army that can protect them from...well...the USA for example. And maintain all those miles of interstates. Then let them add their own income tax against their own laws and see what those secession proponents do. Or are they just going to jack the sales tax to 15% and jack up their already high property taxes? Or maybe they will stop giving all the big corporations tax breaks? At which point they stop coming.

How will the rest of the states take it? You think a trade embargo hurts the USA more than Texas?

Where is the source for this large contingent of Texans wanting to secede forever, and why haven't they done it?

I'm not predicting it will happen, but if it did at some point no student of history should be surprised, no matter how good or bad it may be for either side.

I thought it was common knowledge how popular a sentiment Texan independence is. They haven't done it because it hasn't been popular enough yet. The point is Texas culture is known, perhaps abive all others in the country, to feature this common sentiment.

Nations and borders change over time. Nothing lasts forever.

the donald, always unpopular, did worse in EVERY state in 2020. and by a greater margin in red states! 50 independently-run elections, none of them rigged

Realistically I was never being serious about Texas leaving the union and Texas has been talking about this for sometime so this isn't really anything new here.

However if an economic disaster happened in the United States, war or some major event then you can bet for sure that Texas would try to get out. While I believe Texas has slightly different set of rules than other states, other states need approval from congress before they can part ways which is where the roadblock is for them.

We're going to close this thread as the breaking news portion of this is over.

If you want to continue talking politics head over to the CA board.
