How would the Celtics even get Myles Turner?

He was rumored to be on the table for us before Charlotte offered Hayward that contract.
Not sure if we would have gotten him anyway, but my comment was directed more at people who dismissed a 24yo 6'11 defensive big just cause we got a 6'8 30year old TT who "provides everything that Turner does at a fraction of the price". FOH

Solid numbers for Kanter.
He really stepped up big time for Nurkic, who has been a disappointment for my fantasy league thus far. and. Jow injured lol

Imagine that Boston could have actually had both players. Instead of Kemba for 185 Mil, Brogdon for 100?
M Turner for GH.
That could be a title right there.
Turner is having a DPOY year so far with 4.2 BPG (#1) 1.5 SPG (#13) and 3.3 deflections per game (#15).
But it's alright I guess as everyone said here he is soft because he averages only 7rpg playing next to Sabonis and that contract is just sooo awful at 18m a year, how could a poor fellow like Wyc afford that??
Personally I would rather see Timelord and Tacko develop than for Myles to be our long term answer at center.

Just saw IT is in talks with multiple teams to potentially start playing again. While I'm glad we're not one of them with PP in the mix I'm happy for the little guy, I hope he really is as healthy as he says.

Grant Williams is the odd one out here.
The guy just isn't a good player and he has shown so repeatedly in his production.
He had 2 points and 2 rebounds yesterday while playing over 20 minutes.
so he had a double double and your complaining..![]()
can we trade a D Green wanna be for the real one??
He was on fire again today.
3 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist on 1/5 shooting with only 1 turnover and 5 fouls in only 24 mins of court time.
I think he can improve by getting up to 6 fouls and faster. Once he's off the court we'll probably be better
I actually hate making that joke but it's probably true unfortunately.

I'm watching the Hawks play The Wolves, Trae young is a steaming pile of hot garbage.
Turn over machine, no defense, would not want to play with that guy. Empty calories.

Dunno if their group of young guys will amount to anything more than a 2nd round exit in the future, but it appears Grizz have drafted really well the last 3 years between JJJ, Ja, Clarke, Bane, and Tillman.

His college teammates hated him, and apparently some of the Hawks do too. Lol. Only team I want him on is my fantasy team.

If Nets hold on to the lead and beat the Bucks, Celtics will be atop the East again. On our day off. We're that good.

Re: Around the NBA (Non-Celtics) 2020-21, Part 1
Both the Nets and Bucks don't have much of a bench to speak of.
So basically, all we need to see is for Tatum/Brown/Kemba to be better than KD/Harden/Kyrie & Giannis/Middleton/Holiday. No big deal.

NBA needs to fix it's league and tweak some rules. You have to take away some of these fouls.

Re: Around the NBA (Non-Celtics) 2020-21, Part 1
What are teams supposed to do in a close game against the Nets when you have Kyrie, Durant, and Harden? Hope and pray?
I know it was a close game but I don’t give the bucks a shot against the Nets in a 7 game playoff series since Giannis can’t shoot outside the paint.
Best case scenario for us is to get the #1 seed so these two teams can go at it as the 2 and 3 seed in the second round. I think we can potentially take the bucks but I would much rather face Sixers or pacers in the second round. I know I’m looking way ahead but I think imo it’s important to get that first seed to better our chances to get back to the conference finals and then take it from there

It amuses me that people don't think Draymond Green sucks and still has something left in the tank. He is easilyone of the most overrated players the last decade

Re: Around the NBA (Non-Celtics) 2020-21, Part 1
No one's beating the nets this year at least until the finals.
At this point I'm really down on the NBA. It's just never ending super teams and guys demanding trades so they can play with their friends and stack the teams.
The owners have zero control and I'm hoping when the time comes there's a long lockout so some of the owners can take control. Lower Max contracts, non guaranteed contracts, , franchise tags like the NFL, and a hard cap so we don't have to deal with this nonsense of every team being over the cap having some sort of exception so they can seemingly sign whoever they want.
The player are 100% running the league and thanks to LeBron they have been creating teams for 11 seasons straight. It has to end at some point because it's becoming unwatchable.
