Updated through Jan. 12.

Have to admit I was wrong about Ball for the most part. His shooting was expected to suck, and does. But the rest of his game looks a lot better than I thought it would. And he has helped the Charlotte Hornets to a winning record, no small feat. Still, I said I'd take Haliburton over him and I probably still would.

The best part about drafting right is how much financial flexibility it gives you. Ball will only cost Charlotte about $36 million total for four years. I'm sure the Hornets are very, very glad they didn't trade up for Wiseman.

6 of the top 8 players (by WS) were drafted after #20 or undrafted, lol.

Would the Hawks have traded Collins to move up to 2nd?

Steph / Haliburton / Lee / Dray / Collins would be a very fun lineup to watch. Wouldn't stop alot of teams but wouldn't matter because nobody would be outscoring that team.

NBA GMs are so bad, how do you like Mason Jones go undrafted? year before that Lu Dort, Naz Reid and Terence Davis? just ridiculous, these dudes don't make any sense. they have no idea what they are doing.

Still so early. Will be interesting to see how much this changes after another 20-30 games. My two fav rookies, Vassell and Tillman with the lowest TO rates so far. Slow and steady boys, play the right way, with Memphis and SA, I think they are in good systems.

Haliburton the stand out, proving skill + IQ >>> athleticism.

I'd take Mason Jones over Jacob Evans based on the 3 minutes youtube videos I just watched.

But I can see why he wasn't drafted, I think Phil Mickelson might have more athleticism
