Wiseman is really struggling. Golden State fans are wanting to sell high and trade him while he still has value.

Edwards has been better than expected. Feel bad for him he's in such a tough spot.

The three best rookies are clearly Haliburton, Ball, and Pritchard, although Pritchard is much older than the pack...with Saddiq Bey, Quickly and Maxey on the 2nd tier

I still maintain that the plan was to take Ball at 3 and trade him to Detroit for Okongwu and pick 16 (Maxey? Bey?) but Atlanta surprised everyone and took Okongwu one spot before Detroit. It makes sense because we didn't announce the Ball pick until after Atlanta pick, and Lavar Ball wasn't hyped after we made the pick

Wiseman has looked better than I expected, but his D is really bad right now. He also has 3 assists through 9 games.

Edwards strikes me as an empty calories guy but I've only watched parts of twolves games so far.

Hali looks excellent and is in a great place as a secondary guy. Suns really messed up.

Bigs take time to develop. If the Warriors were counting on him to be a difference maker this year lol at them being lightyears ahead of the rest of the league. If they're dumb enough to trade him for a short-term upgrade we should be all over that.

I don't think he is capable of defending well based on his lack of agility which is what I said pre-draft, but sure maybe he can prove me wrong. We would be tearing our hair out just like Golden State fans are watching him play

I will say I was wrong on Hayes, He doesn't look like he can score at the NBA level because of how slow he is, but its still early and he can prove me wrong too

Yeah, Hayes has looked awful so far and he probably will miss the rest of the season. I'm not ready to fully give up, but he needs a lot of improvement to be worth where I projected him. I still believe in the defensive upside but his lack of burst hurts him.

Okongwu made his season debut last night for the Hawks.

14 mins, 4 pts (2/6 shooting) 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal.

I was unable to watch the game, but here is a horrible video somebody on Youtube made. Has an ad to start video and horrible music throughout, but it shows all the plays.

Almost as many assists as Wiseman already!

Also, not sure if I've seen a video so bad. The music was unnerving.

Here is a couple Haliburton highlights for everyone to check out.

I may have been too low on Haliburton heading into the draft, but even with me being lower than most even I would have taken him before 12th, great value for the Kings. Couple things I have noticed, is he plays the game at his own pace when coming off ball screens he does a good job of slowing down and creating a 2-1 against other teams big and he is good at throwing the lob to Bagley/Holmes. I am not saying Holmes or Bagley are great players, but they are obviously better pick and roll players than Biz, so Haliburton gets some cleaner lanes to the rim then Melo.

His passing is solid, but in my eyes he lacks the creativity and game breaking passes that LaMelo sees and is able to execute. His shot release looks a bit quicker to me, but his form still is a bit weird and low and sometimes he really drifts to his left after he releases his shot. However he shoots it with such loft, it is difficult for defenders to block still. Overall he has a great feel for the game and it appears he is going to put some pressure on the Kings to move either Fox or Hield.

Here is the 39 point game from Maxey last week. Had to play a billion minutes because of Covid Protocols for Sixers, but dude was on fire in this blowout loss to Nuggets. My only thing watching this performance for the first time is he shot a ton of midrange and runner/floaters and I am not sure that is a sustainable playstyle in todays game. It worked here, but he did not really ever get all the way to the rim which is a bit worrisome even in this crazy display of shooting/scoring.

Okongwu with the DNP last night for the Hawks.

Edwards 5/16 from floor, including 3/11 from INSIDE the arc.

Wiseman 4 pts, 3 boards and 5 fouls in 13 minutes last night. -19 +/- by far the worst on Warriors last night.

Okungwu was back last night and played 14 mins in a blowout. 2 pts, 6 rebounds, 3 blocks.

Wiseman had one of his best games of the year, clearly would take him on our team with LaMelo if that was possible. However, watching these highlights I ask myself how many of these plays can Jarrett Allen not make?
