Kispert is probably the closest thing to Klay, on O at least, that I've seen in a while. His release is slower, but apart from that they are almost mirror images in terms of how they move and get open for shots. Coaches love energizer bunnies that you absolutely can't leave open anywhere on the court.

my concern with Kispert is that when you look at the elite specialist shooters in the league in most cases it took them a while to put it together at the NBA level. Oftentimes they didn't work out until their 2nd team.

Duncan Robinson, Joe Harris, Seth Curry, Doug McDermott, Bertans kinda

Redick a bit of an exception. He was able to adapt quickly.

Way too early NBA draft thread 2021

I mean JJ could shoot always but it really took him 3 to 4 years to be the JJ he is now , he even mentioned it on how it took him awhile to adjust and being hurt. Bulls saw he was on the up after 09-10 and tried to snag him but Orlando match smh

Just dropped my semi-scouting video on Corey Kispert. Late lotto role player but an absolute sniper. Come for the hoops breakdown, stay for the outdated pop culture references.

His shot seems way too slow for the NBA level. I can see the comparison with Klay, but Klay has a quicker release.

Mobley is a good big man prospect, but he is a big man prospect.

I always agree with wing > big unless there is a massive talent gap. I will say though that Mobley is different. He is not some '90s PF masquerading as a fake modern big like a Lauri or Wendell, he is a legit modern big with the skills and versatility to be a potential All-NBA level center.

Redick was trash his first couple of seasons in Magic and benched for the most time. He was close to bust label but he addapted just on time before being out of the Nba like Ferdette.

Have a feeling that Keon Johnson, Greg Brown, Terrence Clarke would be much better in Nba than in college. Scottie Lewis with early second rounder may be too.

I’d rather have an all-star wing or PG over a non-superstar all-NBA center. There are no superstar centers in the NBA right now. I know someone will mention the Denver or Philly centers, but I disagree.

I like Kispert. High IQ on both sides. His D will be an issue but he competes and he's a good team defender. See no reason why he can't become a Utah Bogdanovic. His shooting will translate and help any team. He's a good passer but his playmaking isn't nearly enough for what we need but he fits the profile of an AK player IMO.

I'd like to get Kispert with a 2nd first round pick from a trade of OPJ, Thad, or Sato.

Problem with PG's in this new NBA is they take forever to develop like big men. It's so complex to lead an NBA offense.

Sure but with a potentially elite skill he can be a very high level role player that fits on all 30 teams. Nothing wrong with that.

Minnesota management are idiots. They actually traded an unprotected pick for Russell.

It’s top 3 protected.

I expect them to make another trade either w Beasley or Culver for a win now move.

I've seen Jalen Green and Kuminga footage from recent G-League scrimmages and oh boy do they look legit.
