I really like how the Wolves play w/o DLo.. their rookie slides into the old DLo scoring role. Think they have this one sewn up. Much better watch than us tonight

Playing without DLo is like a boat having the anchor cut free. Like an oxen having the plow unhooked. You forget how easy baskeball is without the WOAT defender out there.

Felt the exact same way when we traded him for Wiggins. Probably the primary reason I like Wiggins so much... he's not D'lo. haha

With Wiggins it was always like "This guy is definitely not worth the max, no way." With DLo it's like "This guy is actively killing the team every minute he's on the court."

Weird enough, but this version of wiggins is exactly the guy the wolves need with rubio back and beasley shooting 3s.

Wiggins is playing solid defense and he has been also the only guy in the starting five complementing Curry's game offensively so far. If his salary was around 15 mil. I would have considered it a positive contract for the Warriors. D'lo was not a good fit for motion offense and his defensive effort was unnerving.

That thread shows the Wolves fans souring on DLo.

Told ya.

Any and every team is better never having Russell on the court.

Yeah but the degree to which he poisons the team is just astounding.

When Russell is on the court the team plays its worst defense – DRTG of 119.
When he is on the bench or taking a mental health day the team defense is at its best – DRTG of 98.

His defensive On/Off is the team’s worst: 21. For some context the 2nd worst defensive On/Off is Hernandez’s 12pts.

So, yes what about the offense?
With Russell the team scored 102 pts/100poss, without him they scored 103 pts.
For some, it might be a surprise, but even the offense is better without the "all-star"

I wanted him gone early on as well. I remember the 1st couple of games and watching his soft, lateral movement on defence my internal holy-shite-ometer went off like a raging spidey-sense.

I don’t get why posters feel the need to pump up their cred on a call like this, like they were the only one who didn’t like a player. Do you really need that kudos Clyde?

Clyde knows everything, so he's right to get pissed off if people don't agree with him.

speaking of Clyde always being right, where are all those people who didn't want to trade for DeAndre Hunter after his rook season? cat's out of the bag now.
