Hayward averaging 23.1ppg on 50 40 91. Celts could have Myles Turner for him and his league leading 4.1bpg if not for Danny being an imbecile.

Raptors win vs Indy, 7-9 now. They're figuring it out.

Good. They need to hang around .500 and not top three pick bad

While I love Kemba's personality fit with this team and how he helped them out of a dark spot, I do wonder how we would had been if we had just done Brown/Hayward/Tatum. He probably would had stayed with more touches in the offense. Watching Hayward with the Hornets reminds me of what he could had been with us last season and just in general what we expected from the Jazz. He just didn't get enough touches. Ah well

He's averaging 27/5.5/3 in his last 10 games on ridiculous efficiency. He's up to 24.1 PPG on the season

In two games, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden have played 63 minutes together with an offensive rating of 125.7, which is outrageously good. Their defensive rating, though, is 120.7, which is ... not outrageously good.

This would mean this lineup has the best offensive rating in the NBA, and the worst defensive rating. Not even exaggerating.

Everyone says getting 3 stars is the Move. Not always I guess. It would be funny to see Hayward Tatum and Brown all in the Allstar game.

Well, I mean, the idea is that all 3 would play like stars, which rarely happened here with Hayward because of injuries.

Injuries often used but the real reason is just not enough basketballs to go around for 3 stars plus Kamba plus Marcus

Except pacers didn't offer up that contact the hornets did.

People have some real wrong ideas about how the Hayward situation went down. And they're so, so confident in their wrongness.

I didn't read the Athletic article but my guess is Hornets' pitch also stood out to Gordon showing him how involved he can be in their offense. I believe CHA leads the league in assist % by a mile and are one of the pass-happy teams. Hayward thrives better in that environment. IND had Dipo, Turner, Sabonis, and Brogdon all needing their touches.

EDIT: Ironically, besides Stevens being the coach, the main draw of the Celtics for Hayward back in 2017 was that same pass-happy environment with IT/Horford/H&Es. Those guys bought into the motion offense and quick decision-making upon the catch. Team just didn't have enough talent.

Clippers now hit with the COVID protocols. Soft part of their schedule coming up going against East teams but that's still their two best players being out.

Det blows out Philly without Embiid. B Simmons is de-evolving since his rookie year.
