That's how the Reddit users look at it. Simple gambling. They aren't looking at technical analysis or fundamental analysis. They are throwing their chips on the table and spinning the wheel. I'd do it with fun money but I don't really have the time.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yup, I don't touch calls anymore, but WSB is 100% gambling. Something bad will happen eventually.

I need to get off Reddit, man. I'm tempted to buy all these stocks that they're pimping.

This is what makes this so great. Little guys putting $1,000 to $5,000 into it, driving the Billionaires (with a b) on Wall Street crazy.

Avg. daily trading volume for that stock historically was only about 8 million shares a day. The last three days it has averaged 182 million shares.

What logic are they using? I think the masterstroke with GME was there was a 250% share to float. But with Nokia, it is like 1%.

The more shorts out there, the more opportunity to skyrocket, I would think. Especially if there are more shorts than shares available.

Not reading over there, but now seeing they are trying to move Blackberry (BB). JFC, that stock and company have been dead for years. This is awesome.

Power of the people they say. Just have to be hyper focused on where the money is placed. This is really great.

It's awesome to see. When the small guys get together we can take the big guy down. It's hilarious.

I probably won't get in on this, but at a certain point might there be value in shorting some of these down the road? The big boys will probably eventually win on all of them but GME.

Obviously I'm joining forces with the big boys at that point but that may eventually be the direction.

Depends how serious you think 3M reddit users are about holding this to 5,000. Like it probably won't happen, but this is kind of an iconic moment in history...dug this up on reddit, worth the read

https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/l60euz/theory_the_hold_is_working_and_the_squeeze_is/

I have no idea what will happen, but it will be a joy to watch it play out. Lots of struggling people out there that just had their lives changed.

Can you short stocks on apps like Robinhood, Stash, et al?

I know nothing about stocks or the stock market.

I have a 401k through my employer, an account with TD Ameritrade that I basically look at as a 401k account and an account with Computershare that has some random Pepsico stock in it.

If I want to **** around a bit with individual stocks, is the Robinhood app the easiest way? TD Ameritrade is intimidating and confuses the **** out of me.

GameStop had declined to $298/share about an hour ago. Big rally, now back up to $348/share.

Epic.

Looks like they deployed the bots on Reddit to try and get people to sell and chant the run was over. I bought a few shares just to get a taste of the action.

If you just want to dick around Robinhood is the easiest by far.
