Kareem blocking a couple of Wilt dunk attempts at point blank range 7:05. If you were to believe the myths he should have broken his hand

Robinson has one of the best bodies I've ever seen on an athlete but in Shaq's highlights he just absolute bulldozes him. Shaq's just too big.

I do believe Wilt was stronger than Shaq and I believe Phil Jackson who played against Wilt and coached Shaq said something similar.

They were both the most imposing physical forces in the league.

Malone once separated Antoine Carr's shoulder just by slapping the ball.

Also, Nate Thurmond says hello.

Yes an unsuspecting baby Shaq not being ready for Wilt giving him a vice grip shake to show his dominance proves everything.

Don’t take it so serious. You’re nearly as sensitive about shaq as shaq himself.

There is considerable evidence for Wilt being ridiculously strong, including Arnold Schwarzenegger saying he could lift more than him when they were making the Conan movie, at which time Wilt was in the vicinity of 50 years old.

Whatever the theoretical strength players may have had it is hard imo to argue any center ever employed their size and strength better than Shaq did on a basketball court, or even as well.

This photo boggles my mind. Basketballs are inflated to around 8 psi, so napkin math tells me Zion is exerting at least that much force (probably significantly more) onto the ball with just three fingers. Assuming his fingertips cover around 3 square inches, he is pressing total of 32 lbs of force into that ball. Think about the last time you went to the gym: 30 pound dumbbells are surprisingly heavy. Now imagine balancing that weight on top of your head -- it would hurt!

There's no such thing as a "baby Shaq", he was 7'1", 303 lbs even as a rookie.

For the life of me I can't understand why Orlando Magic Dwight Howard is never mentioned on these lists.

The guy was the strongest player in the League bar none during that phase. The matchup w/ him and older heavier Cavs Shaq is epic and you can see Shaq didn't bully him. His eventual advantage however was his sheer weight overcoming Howard's endurance.
