He really lacks explosion. He doesn't flash coming off of pin downs in the way that say Duncan Robinson can. From an athleticism standpoint I see a lot of Joe Harris in him, in the way that he can use timely cuts to get to the basket but won't break anybody down off of the dribble. I think he'll struggle to get clean looks unless he can somehow improve his explosion coming off of picks.

He can definitely shoot. I'll have to catch a full game to get an idea for the defense, but his foot speed already shows me that he will struggle off of the bounce against quick guys.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

The potential is undeniable...

I disagree with almost everything you just said. And his ball handle and step back ability will get him shots no problem.

But we shall see right. You sound like someone who would watch Wiseman shoot and then say, “His windup and release is way to slow, he’ll never get that shot off in the NBA”

Nope.

Are you telling me that you see Jessup as having above-average burst and explosion? Because that's what I was focusing on.

I think he could have success, but he's going to have to be crafty because he lacks athleticism. Making cuts and popping out against NBL and NCAA players is much different then attacking NBA defenders in the same way. Thankfully he has two of the most savvy space creators ever to learn from.

I'd have him watching Joe Harris and Duncan Robinson tape for sure, but that's just based on what I've seen so far. I need to watch a few full games to really have an idea, obviously. Based on your comment, do you envision him as more of an on-ball player?

Actually they didn't steal it. Originally, the BK name was owned by someone else in Australia, so BK couldn't use it there. Hungry Jack's was the BK franchisee in Australia, and grew & grew. When BK finally got the rights to use the "BK" name in Australia, they tried to open up their own BK franchises in Australia to compete with HJs & got in a big court fight. HJ kicked BKs ass in court, and BK gave up the Australian market.

Or at least that is my super well informed opinion after reading a total of one article about it.......

The hook shot layups in that vid are hilarious. I'm not sure they will work in a real game though - the refs usually allow a little body contact that is going to make that shot hard to steer.

It's weird to see Wiggins and Jesup in a workout with Bell.

Poor Jordan. Gets a start against...Zion. Has some decent stats, 11 boards, 5 assists, but ends up a team worst-22 in an 18 point loss.

I’d still take Jordan back. Even if just to see him & Wiseman playing defense together.

Jessup shot is so feathery and his size looks great for us. Can’t wait to get him over here. He’s gonna fit perfectly.

Wish we had him right now.

The Colonel watches Duncan Robinson film and sees his game in him.

Hawks 4-0.

In Jessup's 4th game, wen 19/2/2 with 2 blocks on 56% shooting.

Season: 15/4/3 on 53% shooting.

Next season we could have something like Wiseman, Jessup, Jalen Green and James Bouknight on the team. Crazy thought.

I haven't watched his recent games, but I don't see any glaring issues on defense. What do you guys see when you watch him?

Jessup playing at a reasonable hour tonight, pretty much at the end of the Mavs game. Can't wait to see him go against former legendary SL PG Keifer the Queefer Sykes.
