Given you can survive in both environments, where would you rather get lost:
SEA or SPACE?

Sea all the way... you could be floating in space without finding anything interesting for freaking ever.

The highlight of getting lost in space would be the off-chance you'd get close enough to a celestial body, get trapped in it's gravitational pull, and plummet to it's surface, burning up along the way...
In sea, you're probably just as dead, but at least the odds of getting rescued are better than getting struck by lightening twice, in the exact same place.

Not gonna lie, if I can survive in harsh conditions, I'd jump from planet to planet in search of life. But yeah agree with DD. My sanity will probably snap if I don't see anything

Owing to lockdown boredom, I've learned to make salted caramels. Its like an addict learning to cook meth.

Usually a black coffee guy but adding heavy cream to coffee is a game changer.

Re: Community Thread LXII: Vaccines Can't Fix Stupid
That feeling when the neighbors decide to park all their cars in front of your house for no reason... Leaving their driveway empty... On superbowl sunday...
That other feeling when one of them leaves and you can move your car back to your spot in front of your house...
That other other feeling when they get pissed and try to teach you a lesson and back up to within 3 inches of your front bumper, but they have a car length in front...
That other other other feeling when they get in to leave, decide to teach you a further lesson, and 'tap' your bumper on their way out, but misjudge... Everything... And end up slamming back into your car with all sorts of cracking and tinkling sounds... Then leaving without saying a word to you...
That other other other other feeling when you check your car and realize there's zero damage, to your metal bumper-ed beast...
That other other other other other feeling when you look up their car and realize it's a special edition Lexus worth around $70-$80k...
The obvious lesson being, people suck, but odds are they're going to end up victims of their own stupidity, if you wait long enough... So pay attention, and bring a camera.

I purchased a bread machine and been making banana loaves, pumpkin loaves, cinnamon raisin, pumpernickel, rye, spelt, sourdough, Parmesan garlic, gluten free, and keto bread. Perfect every time.

I learned how to make Tepache and have been refining my fire roasted espresso roast... I also have been working on my bbq brisket process... made an 18lb-er for the superbowl and invited no one over.
I've also been trying to figure out curries...

Curries are not as difficult as baking for me at least, but the taste relies a lot on where you source your spices. For example the turmeric or chili powder you get at the supermarket doesn't pack the same taste as the ones you get from the Asian grocers.

Currently got addicted in collecting whiskeys. Then almost tried my hands on becoming a pit master but suddenly upset my stomach and now studying a plant based diet for myself.
Also, it's my birthday today. Cheers, everyone!

Meat and rice with minimal seasonings is the safest diet for a stomach upset. I'm the expert on this, I have IBS.
Happy birthday though!

Re: Community Thread LXII: Vaccines Can't Fix Stupid
so its a small sample size but i'm surprised at the number of stations i've come across that have english songs playing in european countries that don't primarily speak english. an example is a town northeast of paris playing 'here i go again' by whitesnake
but then my brother reminded me that the united states kind of won the culture war

That's quite common, they play pop music and Taylor Swift, even at small town grocery stores here in Denmark.
