Seriously! That’s crazy. That sounds like he was traded.

G League or Traded. Also, I have been on boards since 2002 but account got locked for some reason.

Doubt it is G League - wouldn't need to leave mid-game. Would have said COVID, but I doubt AK would tell him himself. Coulda been a personal matter.

Didn't it say in the box score that Hutch had a "DNP - Personal" or something like that?

Guess personal matter would be most obvious. It was odd seeing AK and Eversley at an away game. Is it common for AKME to travel with team?

Also weird being in such an empty stadium. Image

Can't wait for this trade to be official. Would love to have Lonzo in Chicago. He would help us on and off the court.

I had the luck to see him play at Etiwanda Highschool and Rancho Cucamonga Highschool twice and I still believe he can help to win games and make a Team better. He's still a winner.

How much would this help us?

Lonzo is a RFA his value cannot be that high, even if playing well. I wouldn’t give up any starter for him, including Coby who I’ve been highly critical of.

I'd give Coby and fillers for contract matching. No reason for keeping Coby if you get a real pg even not being a great shooter. And we'd end this idea of playing Coby as pg.

That's what it says on ESPN. Could be someone took a call from family or something and AK was the one to give him the news.

I saw a site that suggest that Lavine should be the first guy the Pelicans ask for in any Lonzo deal. Unbelievable. No chance in hell NO can get Lavine for Lonzo. Then the article suggested if Lavine is off the table than Lauri would be the next target. Lauri for Lonzo is something I'd do. No add-ins, just Lauri for Lonzo.

Not sure I would do Markkanen for Ball, but I might think about it. Probably not though.

I said coby for ball but with lauri's injury I will ship him asap. Availability is key.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

I went to a Wizards game a few years back and the entire Gar Pax crew sat one row behind me with Randy Brown so I don’t believe it is uncommon for them to travel with the team.

I would only do Lauri/Lonzo swap if the Bulls don't intend sign Lauri long term.

Lonzo would be the same situation. His contact is up too, but at least he can stay on the court as as I can tell.

Here's my hypothesis: this is mostly just smoke coming from the Ball camp. Ball wants to be paid. To get paid, he may need to use another team for leverage due to his restricted free agency status. Who is a team will max cap space and need for a PG? The Chicago Bulls of course.

Yeah - most likely. The assumption based on this summer is that pretty much all trade rumors are coming from someone other than the bulls. But, depending on the offer, I could still see it potentially making some sense for this season.

Return to Chicago Bulls
