Everyone who uses the word exposed in a title ends up taking a long walk down clown shoe lane
10 miles through the snow uphill both ways

I was wondering when this thread was going to be bumped. Curry has been playing too good for the haters to bump it though. Why can't people ever just admit they were wrong?

Until then its a team that is still trying to learn how to play together. Even then I don't think there's any real validity to the idea of Steph being exposed so much as him possibly having fallen off a bit and not being a great floor raiser.

if you're talking about sample size or the validity of curry's small sample size,,,, first of all it's 7games not just two, and these two are worse than last season's five.

there are times when sample size matters. sample size matters only when something so extraordinary happens it borders on unbelievable. for instance kareem starting out having some bad games. russell having a string of bad games. wilt or oscar having bad games. or magic or bird or mj or lebron or kd or luka or tim or hakeem having a bunch of bad games. then you go "this can't be", because these guys put up numbers no matter what.

but then there are times when sample size DOESN'T matter, and this is one of them. because for a long time people have been wondering this very thing. what is curry w/o klay, what is dray outside of gsw. all this is doing is validating what many have wondered about.

and specifically to this point,,,CURRY AIN'T NO TOP10 GOAT. you don't need a larger sample size to answer that.

Yep, curry sucks without klay
Another example of people looking at a small sample size while using it to give terrible analysis...I guess that 7 game sample size told us so much didnt it? Sample sizes matter in every context of statistical analysis. Not to mention that 7 game sample size was spaced out through a span of over a year.

Currently just shy of a 30/5/5+ on 50/40/90+, 1st in the league in Offensive RPM (same as he has been every year since 2013) at 9.31. The next group of Dame/Lebron/Giannis/Harden/Jokic/Irving/KD all falling between 5.07 and 6.92. They have no other starter in the top 150 in offensive RPM (30 teams X 5 starters = 150...you can work out the issue here).

Turns out he's just better. :dontknow:

how about a 66 TS%, does that count as 'efficiency'? it's definitely hard without a stacked team.

He is fiercely defended.

On the other side, As a Bron fan, i admit i just want the same treatment for him that folks gave Bron. Excuses about supporting casts used to be off limits now the media is doing exposes on how bad his team is.

Meanwhile, after the bad start, Oubre is balling.

The fact Curry is putting up these monster stats with an entire league employing "The Curry Rules" to try to stop him is ridiculous. Unbelievable honestly.

I have never seen a player defended this hard before. Ever. Hes got 4 non-shooters in the starting lineup and hes still finding a way to dominate with 0 space and being triple teamed nonstop anytime hes on the court.

The entire league had to adjust to 1 player. Madness.
