So basically 1/4 odds after a 2-8 start, Baynes fighting off retirement, injuries to the SL, Siakam being suspended by the team, tech happy reffing and playing exclusively on the road.

Have you guys considered that. Trading Lowry may kill the tank alltogether.
Lowry is the engine of this team. They're liable to fall off a cliff without him. TWO may be alive and well after all.

Re: Tank World Order (2.0)
Those who think the Raps are going to fall to the bottom of the standings with a Lowry trade haven't been paying attention to the Raps performances without Lowry.
In order to finish near the bottom, they will need to trade Lowry plus at least two of Siakam/OG/VV/Powell as well. And even that might not be enough.

Things are not looking good. The more we win, the more likely we hold on to Lowry and Norm and lose them for nothing at season's end.
EDIT: Anti-tankers need to get a life and stop upvoting this.

Team Mediocre having a party. A bigger party will be had when we don't trade Lowry or Norm for assets.

I think we trade Lowry either way. The way norm is playing as a starter I’m starting to think we keep him. I wanted us to go after oladipo in FA but at this point norm is way more efficient and he’d cost less.
If mavs keep losing I’d try and engage in some sort of Lowry for porzingis trade.

After all this, years of planning for capspace and creating an environment where Masai would field a competitive team while simultaneously preparing for a max cap slot, only for Norm, Siakam, Fred, and OG to take up 90-95 million of it.

At this point there’s no big FA targets, we’re not bad enough for a super high pick. May as well try our luck with a high upside guy with injury concerns.

Re: Tank World Order (2.0)
I hope the sixers start losing soon so they panic trade for Lowry with Maxey coming to our team. I can justify this season somewhat if we can land a 20 year old guard that has show real potential when given minutes.

Re: Tank World Order (2.0)
Atlanta, Charlotte and Indiana lost so the Raptors are now tied with Indy for the 5th seed!!!
With being 1 game under .500 they would be tied for the #16,17 pick in the draft.

Re: Tank World Order (2.0)
Warriors are next level man. Imagine getting the 4th or 5th pick in this draft. Oh man.
All for trading Russell for Wiggins. So worth it.

I believe if the Timberwolves keep the pick the Warriors get next years draft lotto pick unprotected. I could be wrong.

I'll take that risk. The Wolves have to start winning eventually lol
