if you guys just want this thread to be a pro Wiseman circle jerk just say so.
You have classified him as a positionally locked presumably old style Center, which I am sure is not what they perceive him to be long term or why they drafted him, although I am sure they wouldn’t mind some traditional Center stuff from him currently given their lack of size. They may be wrong, but so might you, both these things have been known to occur.
Let me do some in depth investigation:
Runs the floor like a wing
Comfortable handling on the break
40% on threes
Yep. Sure sounds like a traditional lumbering rim runner to me.

I admit to being somewhat emotionally invested and have very high long term hopes for him, but pretty much no-one is suggesting he will be at his peak whether or not that is AD as soon as next year, but rather have some expectation he will be a good starting quality NBA Center by then.
Logically I can’t deny the arguments on the other thread, that the coaching staff and FO have underestimated just how good Curry still is/would be this season without Klay, and that GSW might contend strongly with the addition of Beale and a journeyman Center, the answer to which is that they could still make a trade with Wiseman’s trade value having increased if anything as has been said. I don’t think they will trade him though, I believe the organisation is also invested in him and that promises have been made, he appears to have wanted to be drafted by GSW. If Green is high on him which seems to be the case and Curry is also on board that is enough for me however.
