3 and D role player with a limited handle. even scouting videos compared him to Danny Green.

Bane ain’t a guy that can create his own shot

You read the same scouts who had IQ and Obi pegged wrong.

turning a corner. needs to get a lot stronger (not strong enough to absorb contact inside) but I see a Brandon Ingram type player if he reaches his potential

another strong game for Jalen Green:

23 min, 21 pts on 7-12 (2-4 from 3), 3 steals

too bad we'll be picking 11

Just finished watching the full G League Ignite game from yesterday...

The two first times I saw Jalen Green play he was 15 and 16 with team USA. Dude looked super smooth and athletic on the court and the only player I could think to compare him to was Kobe.

Well now 2 years later I'm watching him again and his explosion is on a new level compared to where it was 2 and 3 years ago. I know Cade, Kuminga, Suggs, etc. have gotten more hype and passed him on most draft boards over the last few years but the only player I can think if while I was watching Green last night was a young Jordan.

He has a way lower wingspan of course and MJ had like 15 lbs on him even at 19 years old but outside of that his lift on his jumps are insane and his first step is without equal for a player his height (outside of MJ of course).

I never took him out of my #1 spot because of how much I liked watching him years ago, but now I think I'm supporting a tank for this kid after seeing how amazing he is.

Come on NY let's get 2 chances at this guy. Next to IQ at PG and RJ at SF we'd have a very high potential 5 man lineup (IQ-RJ-Green-Randle-Mitch).

Of course with our luck it's not happening... Nothing would be better than the KP pick turning into Green and IQ though.

Last week I was hoping for Kuminga and Green. Now we’ll probably have Brandon Boston and David Duke.

Best thing that could happen is Boston slipping to the teens. I’d probably grab him and Butler or Nix.

Intrigued by cooper, though.

He is more realistic than dreaming about Jalen Green and offers insane amount of athletic ability but with more length and elite defensive ability. Depending on if we land outside of the lottery and BJ,Keon and them are gone. He is priority number one for me. I would Patrick Williams him over a bunch of guards that are slated to go higher. Lewis with Thibs is scary. He would be Thibs attack hound.

Sharife is the truth. From the highschool I would've went to if I lived 5 miles down the road. Dude is insanely skilled. He's like if you put James Harden in the body of a weaker Isaiah Thomas. His ability to actually put the ball in the hoop is lacking though. Has a shaky deep jumper (I think he'll expand his range because he's a great FT shooter), and finishes at the rim like Brandon Jennings (which is to say he doesn't finish). Isaiah Thomas also didn't have a jumper at his age but the bigger deal is whether or not he can get strong enough to finish in the paint. If he's under 45% of layups that's not going to ever work for him.

Everyone talking about Boston has brain worms... Did y'all not learn about taking shooting Fs that actually have no jumpers and can't even manage to be 40% from the field and produce at a below average level at UK?

We JUST got burned doing this crap. UK is 6-13, if we draft Boston it's proof we have by far the worst scouts in the league.

I'm hoping we can get Cooper (he'd have to be off the bench because he can't play with RJ) and Brown (baby Kemp) or something like that.

For some reason every time I look at Jalen Green I think about rookie Odell Beckham. Paper thin, lightning quick and explosiveness that hasn't fully been tapped into yet. Exciting player - too bad we have virtually no shot at him

Honestly with the new win above everything mentality with Thibs and Rose, I would not be surprised if the Knicks go all in and package all 3 picks and maybe some players to get into the top 3 for a Suggs, Green or Kuminga to add a rotational piece to this group.

Kuminga that boy is serious... ability to finish with either hand in the paint, can shoot, can post up, lethal face up game, he's a more agile and better shooter version of Pascal Siakam.

But not as high on his teammate Jalen Green as I'd like... he reminds me of... Gerald Green, not because of namesake, but because of their similar tremendous leaping ability, like Gerald, he can give you highlight dunks (mostly when open in transition), but not sure if his finishing in traffic is good enough at next level. Also, on same token he isn't showing to be a good defender, has the athleticism to make up for it but doesn't necessarily have the desired defensive physical tools. His shooting off dribble and contested shooting are suspect at the moment.

The only thing about Kuminga, he isn’t a fit here.
He shoots as consistent as RJ from 3 & essentially, play the same position.
Of course, talent over fit but yeah.
