Lebron is the direct correlation between
1. Rise of the triple double player
2. Explosion of the point forward
3. PnR scorers dominating the league

His impact of the DNA of the league is unlike any other player. From bigs to smalls. Jordan birthed the 00’s triple threat wings. From Rose to Giannis they all are Lebron.

Putting Morris and THT out at the same time is just asking for every possession to end in some dumb ****. I'd rather see Quinn Cook at this point

LeBron’s simply getting screwed and everybody knows it. At some point you get tired of hearing the he’s hard to officiate like Shaq BS.

I don't buy the Shaq excuse anymore because Giannis and Embiid are even more like Shaq and they have no problem getting calls. Embiid flops more than anyone in the league and gets to the line at the slightest bump. He's 7'2 and gets reffed like Trae Young

I think you can play both Trezz and DMC at the same time which would be pretty huge matchups wise.

That sounds awful haha

Imagine that pick and roll defense??

I want an athletic 5 who can catch lobs

I think Miami, Celtics, or the Raptors make sense for him

Can also see GS, us, or the Nets

The nets probably need a better defensive big though and Boogie doesn't love Harden after that Hou mess, so I don't see it

DMC on defense has all the weaknesses of Trez without the charges and hustle. He makes Trez even less playable. Maybe the plan is to sign DMC and swap Gasol for something more athletic but that sounds like opening new holes in the roster. Lakers fans love Cousins, I don't know what they see, he's everything they hate about Gasol on defense with none of the positional smarts. He isn't going to pass up open shots like Gasol though, so maybe that alone is worth something. Probably a better defensive rebounder too.

I disagree, defensively you can play LeBron at the 4 and have him sag on the PnR. The advantage is having DmC shooting on the perimeter playing the 4 offensively. Matchup the wise he is a good asset the way Frye was in Cleveland. So long as he can shoot decently on 3s.

Yeah I don’t get it. I feel like being strong isn’t even worth the benefits because the refs treat you like nothing bothers you.

Harrell gets an offensive rebound and the ref just “coincidentally” make a touch call so he can’t score the basket. This has happened about three times in this game.

No calls all game, yet somehow a number of touch fouls are made when the Lakers are in position to score (essentially punishing them).

Just shameful.

This game has been there for the taking. LeBron needs to step up.

That's a blocking foul? Lmao I'm definitely done watching the NBA after LeBron retires

He's been poor on both ends in the second half, doesn't seem like he has it in him tonight.

His outside shot is off and the refs have eliminated him around the basket.

He appears discouraged, but I agree with you. He should just let it fly.

No excuse for him to be this passive with the team so cold. They'd be leading right now if he had simply shown some intent.

Bums can’t hit open shots. Bron hasn’t been good either but they could’ve easily won this game hitting wide open shots. It’s embarrassing.

Awful play call at the end, Wes didn't even get an open look. And LeBron had no urgency to foul after the rebound, he's over this game. So frustrating.

Having a "knack" for getting to the line is clearly more about how much the referees like you at this point. Butler doesn't do anything differently than LeBron, takes less contact, and gets double the **** whistles. Durant and Embiid have guys breathe on them and they get 10 FTs a night. I'm betting that the refs are gonna start swallowing the whistle for Luka soon because he's starting to build up a negative reputation and people are going to want to see him fail. They only consistently dickride players who fall under the Kobe/MJ isolation scorer archetype

Happens every year. One stretch of games mid-season kills him every year. Happened in January in 2018 as well. Just hasn't put together a complete regular season in a long time.
