https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2931670-2021-nba-draft-big-board-updated-top-50-playersOna related note, wow at Springer and Johnson from Tennessee being at 6 and 7. I am curious how that team does during March Madness. Personally I'd put Davion Mitchell ahead of Keon Johnson any day, and Scottie Barnes is dropping for me. I just feel like he is RHJ, a non-scorer who is a bit weird to figure out where he plays.
I am high on Davion Mitchell as well, but not sure we should draft him near 20th, since he would be 23 when next season starts. Wish we got another high 2nd pick for him if he falls due to his draft age.
https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/davion-mitchell-1.htmlHe's been hot this past month. Only half a season as he was okay last season. Also the SOS hasn't been the toughest.
Baylor is ranked high and I haven't watched much but isn't Jared Butler the better prospect? He would've been a 2nd round pick last draft. Would they be like Terry Rozier level players? Maybe they excel and become like Sexton or Garland, but I'd rather draft a big.
With Ayo's size at 6'5 I'd take him over Mitchell and Butler.
Rozier has a 6'8 wingspan.
The wingspan of Butler is 6'4? Which is average (Chris Paul, Kemba Walker wingspan), and without a quick first step, my thought is that it will be more difficult for him to create his own shot.
Meanwhile, Davion Mitchell has a quick first step, so I have him higher than Butler, even with the draft age. But his wingspan is only 6'5, which is below average for SG, even though he looks bigger, so I am unsure we can have dual PG lineup.
