I feel like the on-court symmetry with Harris in the group instead of Simmons is just superior. Harris can score on the ball and space off the ball. He's the ultimate fit piece.

Simmons is always going to be a weird fit with any group because he can't space off the ball and he can't score on the ball. Thus why he stands in the dunker's spot doing nothing when the playoffs roll around.

1. Lowry

3. D'Angelo Russell - hurt now but worth a gamble if price is right.
4. Oladipo
5. Derrick White
7. Josh Hart
8. Bertans

Davis Bertans makes 20 million per year. Only does one thing well historically, and is barely league average shooting the 3 this year.

Delon Wright injured his groin. That may complicate any trade for him at the deadline. I was hoping to acquire him, so I don't have to hide my eyes everytime Ben Simmons or Shake Milton sits down.

Unfortunately, you have to get guys like Lonzo when they are playing poorly so you don't pay an arm and a leg for him.

Not PG’s but 2 decent shot creators in Fournier and Ross have to available from the magic. Fournier would be a real upgrade to Green and his deal is expiring.

I wouldn't do Shake for Ball given the contract situations. No way in hell does Cleveland take that for Sexton.

How much more do you think it takes?

Would you trade that for Garland instead?

It would take two more FRPs.

I don't imagine they're looking to move either.

Eric Gordon, PJ Tucker, BK '22 1st
For
Our bench expirings + T.E.

The Rockets go full tank to try to keep their pick this year (top-4 protected), cut salary by 10M immediately, and get rid of bad future money in EG at the cost of a pick that's likely to be late.

We get some major bench reinforcements and an asset for future deals.

Love it, but don't see Fertitta paying Morey to dump a contract.

Let's add Furkan to the deal than :-)

Don't know if PJ Tucker has anything left, but Gordon is still playing at a decent level and will definitely improve our team. But his contract is bad, damned

How much would Evan Fournier cost us? And what contract will he be looking at this offseason?
I loved the way he played for France against USA in the World Cup quarterfinals. He was number one option on that team, and when locked in, he was a solid defender.
And he’s 28 y.o.
Can be that needed scorer at the SG spot.

I think he's worth expirings + a 1st, but Orlando has never shown a willingness to be a seller even when they should be, and they've probably got their eye on a play in spot.

But yeah, he'd be a good addition. Can score on ball at a decent level, can run off screens, can spot up, can pass.

Is there any chance we can get him for unprotected FRP + TPE and Scott, Korkmaz, Ferguson, .
I mean can we keep Green and get Fournier? He can really be that missing piece.

Re-sign both Green (16 mil for 2 years) and Fournier (60 mil for 4 years) this off-season. And we keep Curry Milton Maxey.

Dream scenario, huh?

You can't combine a T.E. with players to match salary, but you could get there with Scott/Ferguson/Bradley.

I think it's a fair offer (with the 1st, not just the garbage) for a soon to be free agent that's a good but not great starter.

As with anything, there needs to be a willingness to move him. If they decide to move on, it's a possibility. And personally, I think they should be looking to move on from guys like him, Gordon and Vucevic to add assets and bottom out. But they've never shown a willingness to get off the treadmill.

That seems to me almost ideal now. We stay flexible, we keep almost all of our assets, he fits the need, age.

I’m officially offering Scott, Ferguson, Bradley, Korkmaz, 2021 FRP and 2022 swap for Evan Fournier :D
