It's honestly possible the Lakers go on an 7 game losing streak looking at the schedule. Utah is a guaranteed loss. And then Portland, Golden State, and Phoenix are likely losses without Davis too.

At least it's putting pressure on the front office to make some moves.

This is a bad loss. They were up 17. The role players have sucked but Lebron has looked off too. Too many turnovers, and his passing hasn't looked crisp lately.

That had to be LeBron’s worst defensive performance of the season.

He was atrocious.

Maybe it’s this wine BS, but LeBron has not been reliable at home this season.

Lethargic, sloppy with the ball, he just looks like a different player on the road.

Honestly, he plays like a wino at home.

Very bad loss.

This team is what I would call: ass

His passing has looked uncharacteristically wonky to me these last 4-5 games.

They will be better when Schroder gets back. On top of Davis being out, he is a massive loss.

I was one of the few guys that was against all of the turnover that happened in the off-season. I was a chemistry and continuity guy and people scuffed at me then.

The Lakers are minus their second and third leading scorers right now. If they start making panic moves it will blow up in their face.

Mark my words.

Lakers may still win the title, but I'm still confident that their supporting cast last season was clearly better.

I never liked green and Dwight for Schroeder and Marc

I dont get how he can go from looking like arguably the best 3pt season of his career to shooting now like what 20% this month?

Those triple OT against the thunder are catching up with him. His shots are bit short when shoots from long range. The team as whole offensive unit is a mess

I liked and still think Schroeder>>Green (who has been very meh for Phi), but I would have loved Seth Curry instead

I didn't love losing Dwight though for nothing

I would have liked Dwight and Marc though and used the mle on a shooter

I hate even thinking about the Lakers rn

Disgusting to watch

This is the worst offense I have watched in like 15 years for a Lebron team

Green is just such a better floor spacer even if his 3pt% isn't great. He knows how to find the open spot on the floor and defenders usually respect him. This team is just terrible when it comes to shooting/spacing.

Obviously something needs to be done, but Pelinka likely brushes it off again

But what?

Schroeder is our 3rd best player and our best ball handling iso scorer besides Lebron (not including AD since he is a big)

AC covers up so many defensive mistakes and his salary is too cheap, not moving him

So we can move KCP and Wes for guys who shoot 3s on more volume, but at what cost for KCP considering he is an above avg defender

Wes doesn't have too much value, but can be packaged with THT, 2nds, maybe a future 1st

I would move Dennis for a better shooting pg or combo guard, but haven't found the perfect move yet

Last year we didn't have to deal with a superteam like BKN, they make like 5 more 3s a game than us on better efficiency...terrifying

I think the expectations would have been drastically different for the regular season if the Lakers had just started at around .500 level, considering the short turnaround time and the championship fatigue. In a way, they are victims of their own early season success as it set people up to think that this team and LeBron are impervious to it.

The sky isn't falling. They still are the deepest team in the league despite Matthew's and Gasol's lackluster contributions. They have two top 10 players. They will get healthy and we will forget this stretch. They will be fine.

We had such high hope just a little while back about LeBron potentially hitting 40% for the season.

Didn't he hit 40 in 2013 or 2014 though obviously on much lower volume?

Pretty much every year he has stretches where he shoots well from three (or even FT at times..), media/people talk about how he gets better with age etc and then his averages come back down to earth
