Teams Believe Base For Russell Wilson Trade Would Be Three Firsts

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Feb 23, 2021 2:02 pm

It\'s unknown if the Seattle Seahawks are truly willing to trade Russell Wilson, but one-third of the league has already called about the possibility of trading for the quarterback.

The belief is that the starting point for serious trade talks would be three first-round picks.

Trading Wilson would require the Seahawks to take on $39 million of dead money onto their cap.

Wait, why did these rumours start? Because he complained about getting sacked like he's a scrub?

3 first for Russell **** Wilson would be highway robbery with how good he is, in his prime. Why is this even a rumor, and if that's the compensation, the Saints should be on the line right now, and forcing Brees to retire.

3 is nothing. I could see it be 3 firsts and then teams offering a 2nd or 3rd rounder here and there.
