I feel like Brett (and the outside world) wanted Biid to bullyball his way into the paint and that lead to this delay of his “all time great” level mid range shooting.

Been saying that Biid has the chance to be the league’s best shooting center. And I do believe he is that right now. It just makes him unstoppable and helps him (prolongs his career) and the team (space for ben).

This reminds me of the injury in his first playing season, against the Rockets or the Blazers I think. Same knee, same movement after the dunk, hyperextension. He ended up damaging the meniscus and had microscopic surgery. Could have been back on the floor within 3-4 weeks, but considering our tanking mode, he was out for the remainder of the season.

I just hope the ACL didn't tear, that would be devastating.

Prayers up for Joel!

Similar but different angle. I also was reminded of that injury. Really hoping he's okay.

Bucks fan here, really hoping for the best for Joel. That looked terrible.

ESPN Sources with @ramonashelburne: Philadelphia Sixers star Joel Embiid's MRI showed no structural damage to his left knee, just a bone bruise. ACL and meniscus are fine. No timeline yet on a return.

76ers MVP candidate Joel Embiid is expected to miss 2-to-3 weeks with a bone bruise in his left knee, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

Again, thanks Jurassic! 2-3 weeks is again best case... I thin the MVP might be out of reach, but **** it... We should still be able to hold on to the 3 seed hopefully.

Thank God. I can't believe something good happened in this god forsaken town.

!!! Time to throw away my sick edit of Nick Foles throwing passes to a dunking Tony Bradley. Ain't gonna need that.

Amazing man!!

Sad he will miss the Bucks game and that this put him out of the MVP stuff, but we avoided something so much worse.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
