Other than his knee, a factor that hasn't been talked about much with Jaylen's decline in efficiency is Smart's absence. Earlier in the season, Cobra's been great at setting up Jaylen more than any other teammate. Jaylen has been assisted twice as much by Smart (48) than the next most teammate (Tatum - 24). That's significant considering Smart's already missed half the team's games. Brown's TS% is also 4% lower when he's not sharing the floor with Smart.

I'm guessing with Smart down, Jaylen has had to create more of his own shots. Smart doesn't only find him in his spots but is also a better ball-mover than most of the team.

That depends on how they view Kemba Walker.

Kemba's a great guy.

He could be the veteran presence the Pels need.

It's not like the Pels are a playoff team right now.
Clearly they're lacking something.

Even if it was just for a veteran presence. Kemba still brings that giant contract and his playing style still conflicts with the obvious path the Pels are heading right now.

I can be available for a hefty buyout to come over here more often haha.

You left us for a while ever since Zion joined up with Ingram it’s like you’ve forgotten about Tatum.

Well sir, I wouldn’t even claim you off waivers.

Hold up. It wasnt just Zion joining with Ingram. It was Zion joining

Frank Jackson
JJ
Ingram
Okafor

Plop Zion in at the 4 and you couldve had a Dukie starting 5 with that team. You aint getting me not to tune into that team haha. Just like if Memphis gets off their lazy ass and trades for Okafor, Memphis will then become my #1 watched team. Because if they get Okafor, they would then have reunited the entire fab four 2014 recruiting class which led Duke to the championship.

So I hold no allegiances to any NBA team, just the one that have the most Dukies. But as long as there is a Dukie on a team, Im more than willing to be a mercanary fan if the price is right haha.

Haha it's stuck like Timelord's nickname stuck for Rob, it was a slow acceptance

Also I appreciate the Mod suggestion, but we all know I'm going to be the Don of the board anyway when we start the Celtics RealGM pod and I'm the host (eyes emoji)

If The Comedian and MagicBagley18 were included in a trade package for Bradley Beal that would be so cruel.

The Cobra has a lot of Heart. I love it when he comes off the Bench, and wills the team back into the game.

Guess it will depend on what draft picks the Celts will be offering.

But if the Pels think Lonzo is part of their future then disregard the trade proposal because part of the reason of the trade is the Pels not wanting to give Lonzo big money.

I’d trade him 11/10 times for BrooklynDynasty. He’s a higher quality poster and isn’t as biased as Comedian.

In that situation, the Pels still end up paying big bucks to a PG though because Kemba still will have 2 years left after this season. And I think the Pels could get back a better return than just Kemba for primarily a veteran presence.

Again if Im the Celtics, I really like the idea of using Kemba to get Lonzo. I just think for any chance of this happening, a 3rd team would be needed to take on Kemba. I just dont see any reason the Pels would want him.
