They're going to have serious non-seller's remorse if Barnes is still on that team come November.

Adding Lonzo doesn’t mean that ball movement is suddenly contagious - it hasn’t been in New Orleans.. Ball whips the ball around in milliseconds already
Thats an awful trade..... even with Ball playing better thats an awful trade.
OG is a really good player too, a much better defender than Jaylen, and a legit knock down shooter from 3. Obviously Jaylen is the much better individual player, but OG is a damn good young player himself.
Ball/Smart/OG/Tatum/Theis or RW is better than our current team, IMO. As always, it comes down to how posters view Jaylen, and our current teams fit. I won’t argue with anyone who wouldn’t want to do it, but I also won’t argue with djFan and zoya, or anyone else who probably would do it. Also need to consider that you’re dumping Kemba’s contract as part of it.
If trading Jaylen, I’d rather take a chance on someone like Towns, but i understand why some would consider a move like this that upgrades our depth with two young players, who are really good themselves. I think the Hawks are another team where that would be feasible.

That team will have a haaaaard time scoring in the playoffs

This is the Celtics biggest issue this season. For whatever reason the Celtics have no desire to play defense this year. Celtics now 23rd in the league in defensive efficiency out of 30 teams.
Hard for me to blame Stevens for this since his teams have regularly been in the Top 10 to Top 5 every year but who knows. Celtics players act like they are entitled to me and no longer want to dig in and work but that’s my opinion.
Celtics defense has been a huge problem this year
I think the lack of practice, covid, and short off-season are all contributing factors to the Celtics right now. Last season, they came out with something to prove. But this year, they look like they are sleep-walking through the season.

Same thing with Gordon. **** em. Our pick may be a lotto pick, sadly enough. And now you want Nesmith and/or Langford too? **** off. Keep him you **** losers.

Who is the next target? Growth from within?

Every single team is in the same boat. There is zero excuse for the product the Celtics are putting on the floor especially when they continually lose to some of the worst teams in the league.

This team has a hard time scoring lol, but yeah the offense clearly wouldn’t be the strength. Would be EXCELLENT defensively though.

Danny and ownership have been saying they'll use the TPE in the offseason most likely. It would be far more surprising if they made a major deadline move than if they didn't.
