Barton has a player option & Bol is in his last year of rookie contract. Magic would be extremely dumb to trade AG for 2 pieces who could be gone in a year

Bol Bol isn't going to be signed to some 20+ mil year deal. Max would be 9-12 million. So to say some team would swoop in and try to overpay for a guy whose been assigned bench warmer minutes his first two years is a reach.

Also, Barton is an okay rotation player that can be replaced.

The structure around an AG deal with Denver would be around Bol Bol and a Future Draft Pick.

If we could get Rubio and Culver, I think it's a win for both teams. We'd have to come up with another 5m to match salaries.

You could do Rubio/Culver/Nowell for AG/Birch.

Right now i prefer
Rubio+ Nowell + pick
over
Trent jr+ Hood+ Collins+ pick
And
Barton+Dozier/Hampton/Bol + pick

Dark horse could be GSW. I wonder how much they want to compete these year
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Not sure why NOLA would want AG, but they were mentioned...AG for Reddick, NAW

And that deal would be an F grade.

Gary Harris is a starter on this team, probably even if they were completely healthy.

I am not doing a deal with Denver unless Hampton is coming back, if it’s Ag I would expect a pick too.

That would probably value AG around a mid round pick. I am not sure Reddick has positive value, he looks done

I wouldn't be trading for JJ...he wants out, perhaps even a buyout or a quick flip to BRK, NYK, PHI for a second & an expiring. I'd basically replace AG with NAW and some addtl. cap flexibility, maybe one of those LAL picks would be nice too (but not a deal breaker for me)...more about fit, finances, and upside now...and I won't be butt hurt when another coach unlocks AG.

3 team deal:

ORL: Barton + Harris + Bol + NAW + NOP 21 1st (top 4 protected)
NOP: Gordon + Dozier + DEN FRP
DEN: Fournier + Bledsoe

Denver swap some unhappy and underperforming pieces for some playoff tested veterans. New Orleans get relocate talent and clear some of the log jam in the backcourt. Orlando get two pieces who are at worst expiring after next season, plus 3 solid youth pieces to add.

I am not trading Gordon for the sake of making a move so that we can please the fans. I am not taking Bol or Harris. AG has higher upside than both of them. And the stretch he had before injury was awesome, averaging triple double. I don't get it. Why AG gets so many hate from our own fan base?

In a second...even if Barton walked at the end of the season. Harris, NAW and a pick is a nice haul, IMO. Don't know if DEN trades both Barton and Harris-leaves them pretty thin if Evan leaves. On the other hand, they'd have money to pay him and it's a great team.

Honestly, they can keep Bol or send him to NOP if they have a use.

Hampton? an athletic guard that cant shoot, sounds right at home here

And Harris isnt a starter if the team is healthy. 10ppg 32% from 3? yeah, no

AG trade to either HOU or MIN I want a pick swap if they keep their pick this year if that is something they can do otherwise not interested.

AG trade to DEN begins and end with getting MPJ back, package built around AG and their choice of Ross or Evan or not interested.

But none of those teams will do such trades so I guess we keep AG for now, maybe a draft day trade comes up.

Harris is still getting paid for a couple of lights out shooting seasons...but they were a while ago. He's only starting if you've got a guy next to him like Murray.

Harris is a career 36% shooter and a starter on a good team for several years before this one. He wouldn't start over Fournier, but everyone else.

As for Hampton, a lot of 19 year old very gifted athletes can't shoot. He'd be a project for sure, but we need upside plays. I wish we had more athletic guards.

Who hates him? He's a power forward. We have invested in two more young forwards. You have to deal from areas of strength, and unfortunately that position is redundant. We need perimeter help in the worst way.

I would love to keep him but I believe he is itching to leave this organization the second he can next summer.
