That's my point would you rather be the Pistons or the Spurs, one strategy has clearly worked above the other...The Bulls had pieces, it is fair to the players and the organization to evaluate those pieces in its totality to ensure you make the right move....This summer everyone was getting antsy about the coach and clearly AK made the right choice. Pat Williams will take another couple of years to evaluate on if he was the right draft choice...This is a real franchise with real people, fit matters with other players, coaches and organization, so taking your time to determine the right moves to make are very different than just doing nothing. I would argue that Gar/Pax were to quick to make moves like the trading of Drose, Butler, the signing of Dwade and Rondo....I think longer evaluation and surveying the market could have netted better players and bigger packages
I dont want to be neither.
lolwut. Is this serious? Wtf? Arturas & Marc have been two of the best executives in the league thus far. They rebuilt the Bulls entire organization & got one of the best coaches in the game lmfao. What exactly are they supposed to do right now? Trade whom? For whom? You don’t know what goes on in talks, people might not like anything the Bulls have to offer. You don’t just make random trades
The ‘Stones suck ****. All those trades & nothing to show for it, AND they bit on the Killian Hayes hype. Terrible team to bring up as an example of what to do
Also, that may be the only time in history anyone has said “I don’t want (insert random sports ‘chise here) to be like the Spurs”. Literally every single team in professional sports aspires to be like the Spurs. They’re arguably the most successful NBA franchise in modern history & have some of the best management in all of pro sports
