Harden trash
Deandre garbage
Shamet garbage
Kyrie really good
Harris sorry he was trash
Green trash
Claxton is young
Having said that they had to lose sometime and the magic literally couldn’t miss

Worst coached game ive seen in my entire life, on any level, ever. an absolute F****** embarassment. I dont care that harden was off or harris couldnt buy a bucket. i dont care if orlando couldnt miss from three. Nash was basically part of Orlando's coaching staff tonight.
They were red hot from 3. Nash made ZERO adjustments. Hard double teams to make them pass under duress or make their shooters uncomfotable? nope. Pick up full court to make them work clock and work harden to get into their offense? nope. Double hard on picks to force the ball handler away from the rim and allow quicker recovery on the wings? nope. Bring in one of your defensive specialists (roberson?) to disrupt guys who were hot? nope.
On top of that, Nash (as he constantly does) Iced his own players. Kyrie was on absolute fire to end the first half. he started the second half with a three to give us the lead. we went 4 minutes... FOUR before kyrie even touched the ball again. not 4 minutes before his next shot attempt but 4 minutes before he even touched it. and orlando wasnt even denying him the ball. Harden was off, Kyrie was on fire. maybe you run some plays to get the ball in his hands? nope.
Harris was terrible from three. May you sit him in favor of either johnson/shamet for longer runs or replace harris with a defender like roberson given harris was missing everything in site anyhow? nope.
Several blown calls by officials. Did nash get on them at all? nope? take a tech to get the refs attention/swing momentum? nope. call timeouts to disrupt their runs? nope.
look maybe we lose anyway. tough to win when the shots dont fall for you and they cant miss. but Nash literally did all he could to help orlando win this game. its effing pathetic. and its sad because we have a legit title team. but there is simply no way you can overcome this kind of coaching once its a 7 game series and its about adjustments vs another elite team. we will not win a title with nash as coach.

Thibs makes adjustments and understands his opponents. we dont have thibs. if we did, we would have 5-6 more wins

Bruce Brown been terrible for like 5 games in the post game talking crap about starters?! Like you played 6 minutes the other night. You really think you a starter? You barely cracked the Pistons. If we had a off-season you wouldn’t be on the team.

King: Kyrie. dude did it all. would have had 50 if the coach tried to run plays for him in the 4th.
Knight: Claxton. really competed to help us make it close.
Nash: Harden. obviously with how good he usually is, you can fault him for a stinker now and then

Brown has been outstanding all year. and he was a big part of our late push to make this one close. Everything brown said was legit. and that trade was one of the best moves marks has made. Brown is one of the only 2-way role guys we have on this team. When durant is back, he has an argument to be a starter, with D needed more then shooting once that happens.
Also, saying he threw the starters under the bus is a bit much. he said joe missed open shots and he never misses those it was a tough night. he also said that they shouldnt have let them get going early and that they hit shots but we needed to make it tougher for them. both of those are true. and when he was in, his D was solid and we got some stops so....
your constant trashing of brown, who has been an enormous godsend for us, is crazyness

I didn’t say he threw anyone under the bus. Said he think he’s a starter. He’s been fantastic in role which I said when we did the mid season report cards. However that idea of A+ in being a role player being an actual A+ apparently is the same to him. Lately he’s been pretty bad. If any team doesn’t straight up ignore him he’s pretty useless.
I’m constantly annoyed by cigar players yes. I don’t like Alex Curoso getting All Star votes. I don’t like seven point snarl player. Fans get their favorites and over react to everything they do as if it’s worth more. As said if we had an off-season he doesn’t crack the rotation. Neither would Tyler, but you don’t care about him so saying that isn’t a problem.

of course he does. and he may very well start once KD is back. Dude is a legit top 7 guy on a title contender. he hasnt finsihed the same since he hurt his hand. that is hardly a reason to knock him. his D and effort has still been there. dude started last year and has started several games for us this year and we won the majority of those games.

He’s a top 7 on what other contender? Lakers/Clippers/Nuggets/6ers/Jazz/Bucks? Where in this league if not for a mid season gutting is he top 7 player? Who minutes is he taking?
We won those games because Bruce Brown is amazing? Or you know James Harden and Kyrie.
Fan favorites are so overrated.

he is in the rotation on most of if not all those teams. he has been a big part of several wins. of course harden/kyrie lead the way. but that doesnt mean the rest dont matter. he has been one of our best players this season

Nash did the best he could, but we're not winning a game when 1 of our big time players has his worst game in a Nets uniform, literally none of our elite shooters can knock down an open shot, and the Magic can't miss from deep, whether they're contested or not. It's the NBA, it happens. Especially since you know they've been losing and have lost 2 games against us already. They were gonna come in extra motivated.
Doesn't change the fact that we're still 14-2 in our last 16 games, with a still winnable game against Washington coming up. And we owe them some revenge. Then the marquee matchups with Portland and Utah after, I expect our A games against both of those teams, cuz that's what we tend to do.

Nash did his best... to help orlando win by making 0 adjustments and putting our players in the worst position to succeed. if he makes even the most basic obvious adjustments, maybe we still lose, but we had 0 shot with him making none.
It doesnt matter if "we owe the wizards". we owed the pistons and it didnt matter. orlando was on the second of a back to back after a drag em out with the knicks and it didnt matter. Nash is putting us in the worst spot every single night. and its costing us. if harden and kyrie dont go off to bail him out, we lose.

None of this is true. He made adjustments throughout the game and we were getting open shot after open shot. And we were contesting their shots way better, they just kept making them.
There's just nothing you can do when a team is hitting their 3s at a ridiculous rate and we can't buy one. Unless Nash physically shoots for Kyrie, Harden, Harris, Shamet, and TJ, not sure what else he could have done for them. They got wide open look after wide open look.
Nash gets a solid B+ tonight. For the almost comeback...props to him on a night we should have gotten blown out with the way we were shooting the ball compared to them.

Nash said Harden and Harris were playing on dead tired legs after playing so many minutes lately. I would sit Harden on Sunday.

Last night was an aberration. Teams don't hit shots the way Orlando did last night; Layups, Mid Range Jumpers, 3 Pointers and you name it, just about EVERYTHING was nothing but net. When that happens, and it rarely does, it's a freakish aberration, but when that happens you are going to lose.
It doesn't even matter how great your team is or how much your opponent sucks. Throw out the records and throw out the stats. Even ELITE TEAMS can't just wish to shoot that way and do it. It's just one of those freak things that rarely happens and when it happens (against you), YOU LOSE.
But it's not something to panic about because it's not something teams can duplicate. They can watch film all day and all night to see what the Magic did right and they will learn close to nothing they can duplicate and get the same results. There is no game-plan that exists that will allow you to make shots like it's a broken video game where everything goes in.
Lastly, we weren't going winless the rest of the season. Eventually we were going to lose and when it happened that was actually the least frustrating way for it to happen. It's not like the Wizards FLUKE when they steal the inbounds and scored about 8 Points in 8 seconds. That's the kind of loss that keeps you awake all night thinking about all the ways WE LOST THE GAME, not the ways THEY WON IT.
But when you lose the way we did to Orlando, you chalk it off to a freak shooting night for the magic, one they will not repeat all year, one they could not repeat if their lives depended on it, and move on to the next game.
