We are in the same region as Michigan and Michigan State.

I don’t know a thing about U Conn. I wonder what the point spread and betting favorite will be.
Bye bye Beal.

MD's 10th seed, so it's a good bet UConn will be favored. Seems like MD and UConn have played a lot over the years - going back to the MD NCAA championship team that had to go through the UConn team that included Caron Butler and Emeka Okafor.

On paper it looks like it’ll be one and done.

Maryland just doesn’t score well. They’re going to need 70-75 points just to contend.
Bye bye Beal.

Just wondering as someone who doesn't follow women's basketball - Why is MD just 7th ranked when they're 17-1 in the Big Ten and 24-2 overall?

I did 4 different tournament brackets. Two each for Yahoo and ESPN.

In all four, I have Gonzaga winning the championship. SO, FOR SURE that means Gonzaga will not win.

I think the Terps will probably lose to U Conn, but in each of my brackets I have them advancing to meet Alabama and then losing. It will not be the biggest shock if this Maryland team advances to the Sweet 16.
Bye bye Beal.

Go Terps!

They played terrific today. They made a good team look bad.
Bye bye Beal.

We got Alabama today - a real well balanced team that can play 5 players who can shoot 3's. A team like that is so hard to defend, but MD's defense can shine. Herb Jones will be a pro.

“The women released but cracking on memos.”

Translation: the Maryland women released the Kracken on those other girls. (I had said them hoes.)

I don’t have my glasses on and my talk to text is insane. iPhone translation sucks

I can only hope the Maryland women do the same thing to the Alabama women's team that the Alabama men did to Maryland men's team.

Well, I guess their greatest accomplishment, other then going all season without getting COVID, was getting to the Big Dance with limited talent, no real big and no bench.

OPINION: Mark Turgeon was a predictable, dunderhead of a dolt the way he coached against Alabama.

If he were a Civil War general his side's guys are going to be piles of bodies and carnage because they have an inferior strategist.

I don't feel like wasting energy expressing frustration that a dude making 2.7M is too dense TO PLAY MARIAL OR DOCKERY OR SMART.

DUMB ASS
Bye bye Beal.
