Great news. I like him too. Runs the pick and roll so quickly and can get up there to catch lobs. Moves well with and without the ball and he’s crafty around the rim. Potential for a nice mid range game as well.

I'm ok with Precious but if I'm getting Robinson I would rather move him to another team because I don't dig giving him Bertans money. Maybe he makes sense in New Orleans?
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Not concerning at all. What he did in last years playoffs as a rookie was amazing and he's worth our first and Kyle if that's doable. The guy is going to be a Butler type closer at some point in his career.Nebuchadnezzar wrote:Hero is shooting 33% from 3 this year compared To 39 last year - that is concerning

Lol no not our 1st. Our first is our most valuable asset right now. If we can get Herro for Lowry I’m in tho

Precious overrated, foul prone and terrible FT shooting. Focus on picks, this is a deep draft. Even early 2nds will have significant value.

I dont think the Raptors are in the mood of starting from scratch since we just gave FVV, OG and Pascal big contracts: retool, not rebuild.
u tried retooling after kawhi left..didnt wrk need to start over
Whos been our biggest acquisition since kawhi left? We havent retooled weve just stayed on the continuity track hoping siakam and the young guys can continue winning

Keeping Dragic, who isn't even all that useful to Toronto, would go a long way towards getting that ring. Dragic was instrumental in Miami's playoff run last year. There's a way to make the deal work without involving Dragic and the Raptors don't even have a use for him. What's the point of including him in a deal?
18 mil. He does have to wave the ntc so that would dictate if were to happen or not. If a team is all in the only sentimental roster spot is Udonis Haslem LOL.
The thing is that it's a competitive spot, not a sentimental one. Lowry-Dragic as your playoff PG rotation is deadly. Again, why the insistence on Dragic over Iggy? I don't see what's in it for the Raptors, who'd have no use for either player really
The reason for Dragic is it allows a 3 for 2. Dragic, Precious, Kelly for Lowry and Bembry. And chip in that 2025 while your at it. You can get Dragic back in the offseason.

Except Miami and Philly 2nd will be late 2nds. Any deal needs to have a 1st
Someone in Philly board just threw out the idea of two 1sts and expiring for Norm lol. I’d take that and run

We need taller guards, late 1st early 2nd there are a ton. Look at Chris Duarte, nobody talks about him but is Norm that much better than him? I dont think so. In the 4th quarter, Norm disappears for a reason.

No they didn't try retooling after he left, They ran it back with the same roster and if not for the bubble likely would have made it to the finals. They didn't retool this year either.
You don't start over when you have your young players, who have won a championship By the way, locked up long-term. You retool around them and that's what the raptors are going to do.
But thank you for chiming in
Ya, retooling last season would've been to trade Ibaka for a 1st pick and Marc for a 2nd pick getting back expiring (or 2 years left for Giannnis sweeps) bigs.

I looked at Heat RealGM and Phillies RealGM and found stark differences.
Heat fans would suggest fair deals for Lowry, or Lowry+Norm.
Phillies fans: "I wouldn't trade Thybulle unless it's a deal for Lavine or Beal" and don't want to trade Danny Green in a Lowry deal - bunch of Danny Ainges on that board.

I mentioned Duarte. I see him like Doug Christie. Good late 1st pick option.
I think could do a trade with Brooklyn. Dinwiddie (out for this year for the tank), Nic Claxton (since they have Blake Griffin now) and 1st pick (whenever they can give one up).

Ya, if they don't have any 1st picks gotta give up Precious at minimum. Precious, Dragic and Igoudala? Ship Igoudala to Brooklyn for Dinwiddie and Claxton?

Hard pass on Dinwiddie, will want too much $. Claxton is a definite target but I would be surprised if Brooklyn gave him up or even makes moves (other than dumping Dinwiddie).

I think that Philly wants to keep Thybulle because he helps them match up with BKN. He's been one of the best defendersDelAbbot wrote:I looked at Heat RealGM and Phillies RealGM and found stark differences.

Thybulle could defend Uncle Drew, but gonna get bullied by Uncle Harden. He is too skinny.
Anyway, Phillies fans are so lukewarm about adding Lowry. I hope Phillies get nothing and Mia gets Lowry and knock Phillies out in the playoffs.

Use Dinwiddie as draft day asset. Maybe package with a late 1st pick to move up?
