FWIW BR capologist has the Bulls war chest of trade assets ranked 5th in the league.

Siamkam would be a nice second option to Zach like he was to Kawai. Also seeing a long athletic front court with Siakam and Pwill.

How silly is this trade:

Toronto trades: Siakim, VanVleet, Baynes, Mccaw

Bulls trade: Otto, Pat Will, Coby, WCJ, Thad, 2022 1st, 2024 1st

Why would Toronto want Thad if they trade Siakim and FVV?

Lauri makes a bit more sense I suppose for both teams.

Is there any conceivable way that we can get Brogdon & Turner on our squad?

White, WCJ, Lauri + a couple of unprotected 1st’s? Those two would almost fit perfectly with Zach IMO, and both are on reasonable deals. Pacers blow it up, take a look at a few young prospects and then trade Sabonis for more 1sts.

Brogdon/LaVine/PWill/Thad/Turner. That’s a ECF potential team I feel with the potential to grow together for 5 years. We can look at replacing Thad with a more athletic version in the long term.

I think it’s hard to look at getting one of these elite power forwards or centers without including Pat. No one wants Coby or WCJ as the centerpiece of a deal

Raptors fan liked Pat, Lauri, and Thad for Siakim.

Bulls would still have enough money for Ball (18-20) in the offseason, maybe even Holmes too (8-10 million?) Draft Kispert, and 2021 season is looking solid.

Ball, White
Lavine, White
Kispert, Sato
Siakim, WCJ
WCJ, Holmes

2 all stars (Lavine, Siakim), guys with some potential still (Ball, Kispert), and high quality role players (Sato, Holmes). Good roster balance.

Is the filler Lavine, Pat Williams, and 3 1st rounders? Cause that’s what it would take

That's too much and why would we want Lavine as part of the deal? Will throw in Lauri at most.

Why not. Spurs are not going to win championship this year, so getting something back that might be with them next year is always better than nothing, what DeRozan is giving them next year.

Question is can the bulls re sign Derozen from now ? Or is there a risk to lose him in FA this summer? If they can then it’s a no brainer they should go hard to get him. If they can’t then they better talk to Derozen before they do anything .

Is DeRozan a free agent this summer?
Yep, hasn’t signed an extension yet with the Spurs which is why they might trade him.

PWill will be better than Siakam in three years. Siakam hit his ceiling.

Jalen Brunson, PJ Dozier, De'anthony Melton, Jordan Poole, Terrance Mann, Jaylen Nowell....there's actually quite a bit under the radar decent young players that could be developed into starting level caliber players in the right situation. They'd be a lot cheaper than what Lonzo will cost as well.

It would probably have to be at least 3 1st rounders, but if that's the deal, I'm good with that. Would the Bulls or Pacers do that though?

I think the Bulls need to be leaving the trade deadline with all 3 of derozan ball and Drummond. Ship whoever off not named lavine and Williams. It's time to get some kind of resemblance of a competitive team and this roster is going nowhere.

Lauri to pelicans for ball or send lauri to Boston and send their assets to pelicans for ball.

Coby Sato felicio and carter Jr and heavily protected 1st to San Antonio for demar derozan
Or send Sato to a 3rd team and sent their asset to San Antonio

Otto porter jr and 2 2nd rd picks for Drummond.

New line up

Ball
Lavine
Derozan
Young
Drummond

Temple, Arch, Hutch, gafford, valentine, mokoka,Dotson, is not a strong bench and will need to be fixed in the off season. If Drummond walks use that space for additions to the 4 and 5.

I would move lauri and coby for brogdon

I just can't see the pacers moving him to a divisional rival

Would be great for the Bulls. BUT does IND really think the Bulls can give them an upgrade for 40% of their starting lineup? And if they get 1,2,3 picks with what the Bulls get in that starting 5 you list, still keeping Satoransky, Valentine, Temple Gafford to come off the bench with some room to add a couple more vets those picks are going to be in the mid to late 20's every other year for the next 5 years

Tomorrow at 3 pm EST. So I doubt we start seeing any real moves/chatter until sometime this evening at the earliest.

my god these "win-now" plans are nauseating. Are you reading these names that you're typing out and clamoring for?

Well you know, why lose the play-in when you can get swept by the Nets!
