Lol. You can’t take anything Collins says seriously, about KAT or ATL. He wants to play where they will give him a max contract and enough shots so he can get a second max contract.

That’s kind of my point. If you say you want to spend your career in A but also put out publicly that you want to be in B, why should anyone anywhere believe you?

It's a tough spot to get any big-name player. The asking price is really high and we may not want to sell one of our assets for a so-so return. Beasley is very tradable but again, he has a ton of value to our team right now. Gordon is a guy who maybe brings us more value, so maybe we do that but a move like Collins involving Beasley is a gamble IMO.

Collins seems like a really good fit but paying him a max (or at the least a contract much higher than Beasley's) seems like a bad idea if we got Russell and Towns under max deals. We can't bring in any more max players and it may be hard to move Collins or Russell in the future.

Also the chance that Collins walks, then we lose out big on the value scale as we have up a pure shooter/scorer that we really need and maybe other assets.

I could see some low level guys shifting around. Like another Jauncho like trade where we bring in an under-the-radar PF and hope they fit in well. Don't think a big move is happening but could see a small one involving fringe guys.

Also a few days ago I heard that the Wolves have been asking about damn near every PF in the league. We are looking hard, it's not just Gordon or Collins.

Rosas might have a questionable history at the top of the draft but he has an eye for talent elsewhere. He saw Beasley and moved to get him. I wonder if there is another similar player who is being underutilized who Rosas might trade for. The good news is we don’t have to wait long to find out.
