Trading Edwards can get your team to a 5 starter level of guys over this 21 yr old babysit line. Smarter and more consistent basketball from starters. Bench is depth developing. Still would have McDaniels, a new guy from this next draft, maybe McJordan, Laytoe, Juan, Reid, and whoever.

Rubio
Dlo
Beasley
NEW GUY
Towns

Just make sure the new guy's middle name is Beasty.

This "can't trade Edwards" crap is crap! Crap I tell you.

Last two games, what did the team need? Better shooting. Yet what are people saying now...trade Beasely for...EAT CRAP!

You are bordering on similar levels to Wolveswin and his hypothetical trades involving Towns.

I hate the lineup you posted, but I get your argument. Team is gonna be sh*t for a while, at least as long as we are going for mediocre land. KAT and Dlo can go or stay for all I care, but if you are committing to one path, commit to it.

DLo
Beasley
Starter
Starter
Towns

Would be a borderline playoff team I guess. I prefer home runs, but it would at least be average to above.

seems like we're still in the hunt for Gordon. Boston is only offering young player+1st..they won't trade their core. Beasley is better than that young player Boston is offering.

Gordon gotta think about PT too..i thought Tatum grew to 6'10 shouldn't he be playing pf now? Denver has michael porter and milsap at pf. Here he'll defly be our starting pf and just guranteed he'll atleast play 30 mins:)

Rubio Gordon?

Or Beasley is involved?

Right. Could also trade Rubio for a better fit as well, there is interest in him now anyway.

The thing is, people keep acting like it's never good enough. Well it likely never will be until the actual team wins enough to threaten in the coming playoffs and then, just like players right now at deadline, they might ask to join your trip into the playoffs and you might pull something special off. They have to see your team as capable, interesting, winning games. But if your team is constantly bottom feeding and developing rookies every single season this will never happen. Have to create a good enough team to compete in regular season and that's not really hard. Just have to commit to that as you say. 100%.

Wolves are likely done if they trade out shooters. They aren't getting any back. They don't grow from seeds at the corner store. It's going to suck again.

Wolves need this next to KAT.

Gersson Rosas needs to make it happen. Wolves have a log jam at 2-3. Power forward is still a very real need. Vando is rotational player & Jaden is just a kid

My guess is teams see Beasley and McDaniles as the most attractive pieces we have. Some teams may want Rubio but those are probably contenders. Outside of that Naz, Nowell probably garner some interest too. Don't think anyone is falling over their chair to acquire Juancho, Culver, and Layman though maybe, some teams still think they can unlock something in Culver.

Last season, did we expect some trades to go down? Or were everyone surprised by the deals?

How about something like this?
To wolves
Boucher, Schroder (bought out)

To LA
Lowry

To Toronto
Rubio, LA frp, Horton-Tucker, Juancho, Harrell

I’m stunned nothing of significance has happened yet across the league. My best guess is Lowry ends being the biggest name moved.

On a side note, I saw Jeddz this afternoon downtown handing out “Cancel Edwards” bumper stickers. I walked over to introduce myself but he saw me coming and ran the other way screaming “don’t take my shooters!!!!!”.

not that surprising, not too many teams are selling because of play-in possibility, so those that are going to string it to the end, not that much risk to losing an offer that is on the table already
