That makes totally sense.
Chicago made a win move by getting Vuc to now trade their all-star for a raw rookie.

On the other hand we are the worst team in the NBA so let's trade our best young prospect.

Fantastic. Never change Jedzz

Obviously when I posted that No Vuc trade was public knowledge yet, or at least in my knowledge yet. Thanks for noticing bright guy.

On your second point, "best young prospect"? LaVine was our last best young prospect.

You can have your "Best young prospect"

1. Rubio takes less trade assets
2. Less money in the future
3. Already knows how to feed LaVine, to win right now.
4. Helped similar players (Donovan Mitchell and Devin Booker) make leaps forward towards stardom
5. Same age as Vooch (30)

Still probably going to be Ball, but ...?

MIN is rumored to be one of many teams CHI is in talks with to trade Markannen. I don’t think Lauri is a great fit, but I don’t want to pay what Collins will get, or be in a bidding war for Aaron Gordon.

Markannen and Sato for Rubio?

Markkanen seems like a decent partner to Vucevic. Doubt Chicago moves him now.

The rumor is that they don’t think he is, and want to feature Pat Williams. I see him more of a big SF, but whatever. Shrug.

I wouldn’t. Markannen hasn’t had a healthy season yet.

They are both horrible defenders. Lauri is on the move for sure.

We need two way players Markannen shouldn't be on anyone's lips here.

Either blow it all up or trade for two way players only.

I agree. I think ORL is probably going to get”bidding war” prices.

If he can continue to shoot the three (no guarantee there), Gordon’s a good fit next to KAT. However, I wouldn’t want to trade a lot of assets for a guy that wants to play for a winner, and raise his Q-rating, which wouldn’t happen as MIN’s fourth or fifth option.

I don’t disagree with you, and I wouldn’t want him next to KAT longterm. However guys like Markannen and Oladipo (if we moved some guards) are discount players, and Rosas may be playing that angle.

Give them minutes, and see what you can trade them for in the off-season.

Billy Donovan does not want to rebuild lol

Chicago going all in

Looks like the magic are going full rebuild.

That’s a haul for Vuc. A young center (Carter) and two firsts. I wonder what the protections are on those picks because Chicago isn’t very good.

If today ends up being a slow day for us and we stand pat, the silver lining will be that we don't have to hear about Aaron Gordon anymore. Halleluja

The Bulls are currently 10th in the Eastern Conference (11th worst overall in the league). Unless injuries strike, Chicago isn't giving Orlando a top-10 pick.
