Wind is reporting Barton is going to Philly or Portland.

Pick is protected 2025 1st. And we are getting Gary Clark.

Fournier is an expiring player, unlike Gordon.

But ORL didn't take any money back for Fournier, opening up a $17M slot. They also looked like they reduce their cap by another $2M for this year with the CHI trade.

RJ Hampton is the lottery level talent in the long terms, and Gary Harris in a rebuilding team will maybe recover his offense soon, but this is the real "winning now" deal for the Nuggets, and I really doubt in 2022 will happens with Gordon the same thing like with Grant, so let's hope Porter-Gordon forward duo will works on the floor as it seems on the paper!. I'm happy!

Thats already win win for Denver. Denver needs somebody who can score off the bench as well .

Wonder how much these silly losses to lottery teams had an influence on this trade? As for Gordon, he will be on the court more than Harris, was glad we traded RJ rather than Nnaji but I really liked RJ's potential. Waiting to see if/where Barton is going and what the return will be, but the chemistry of this team has definitely been altered.

Solid deal. Dumping Harris already cost a FRP, therefore Gordon cost only Hampton.

But I don't understand Millsap's and Bol Bol role right now. And Barton is the only SG un the team

Millsap + Bol Bol for Ross would be huge

Agreed, we're definitely short on SG's and heavy on PF's. Looks like MPJ's back at SF unless Malone is looking at Gordon at SF ????

Murray doesnt get assists, he's essentially a 2. You could start Morris at pg if you dont find a 2 on the trade market or buyout market. Dozier is fine at sg too.

I am Happy with Gordon trade, I think that was the right price.

But I don't get current roster construction. Millsap, Bol Bol, Nnaji, Cancar....all PF without minutes and no backup SG. Even Clarke is a PF!!!

We need a backup SG Who Can score. Millsap + Bol Bol x Ross would be ideal IMO

Could be that Dozier has earned more time.

Morris and Murray, with Dozier and Compazzo coming off the bench...

We need starting SG.... No Barton pleaaaase..

Someone wrote that pick is 2025, and we owe that one to OKC, so we could have trade with OKC to try and bring down protection. Not sure if thata true or anything but read it somewhere.. Maybe we give Clark or Bol to OKC for something

OK, one more move and I'm ecstatic, Gordon + Millsap for Siakam + TD :D

I guess another interesting aspect of this trade is we'll have another $5M in cap space this offseason, if Barton opts out that frees up about $20-25M to get a free agent SG. Wonder if Jrue would consider a real playoff contender ??? Or Gtj, Oladipo, Powell (JK), Josh Richardson ?? Maybe even trade for someone like Buffy Hield ?? Or we could just have the money to re-sign Barton

Finish this off. Go get Lonzo

Millsap, future 1st and 2 pick swaps for Lonzo

Add Barton for JJ reddick if you have to

Dozier starting makes everything work best. Monte Morris you don’t maximize as a starter with the top 4

Denver have amassed so many PF's Gordon,Millsap,Green, Nnaji , they still need quality guard play off the bench , both on defense and offense , plus Barton is till on the team. Plying MPJ at SF maybe will not work, it didn't work with Millsap very well.

So Barton will stay, not clear as SG-starter or as 6th man GF-backup.

Wonder if Clark will get to see ANY playing time, his contract is non-guaranteed, more of a throw-in probably required by ORL.
