Good win but that offense down the stretch was ugly with CP3 and Booker going your turn, my turn. I hate when teams resort to that at the end of games, just why? Opponents will be keying in even more on our best players so move the ball to the open man, especially not getting Ayton involved was comical. Needs serious work.

It’s fine against teams like Utah or Dallas or Denver that can’t defend, but Toronto is too good.

CP3 doing what he did with Harden in Houston with all that iso nonsense. That can’t happen. I’m surprised he hasn’t realized that other teams who win titles play team ball while the losers are the ones doing the my turn/your turn crap. You rarely see Curry and Klay going iso in their titles, they move the ball and set screens and score efficient baskets.

This isn’t playground basketball. Utilize all 5 players on the court on offense imo. Use screens, do dribble penetration, draw fouls, kick it out to shooters, play like that. Especially in a game that Ayton was doing well, it’s mind boggling he wasn’t involved more.

I don’t think an iso every now and then is bad but that 4th QTR was a disgrace.

It appears an Ayton mismatch within 5-6 ft of the hoop is our most sure shot.

Glad you guys feel the same re iso ball to close games out. It's just stupid and as mentioned by revived it just doesn't lead to championships generally. You need some variety and it's not like we don't have options with Ayton in the middle and guys like Bridges making cuts and the shooters we have.

I see a lot of people complaining about the late game ISO, but you have to remember games past, we get turnover prone late in the 4th and let the opponents get back in the game and in some cases take an insurmountable lead that we never caught back up to. I'd rather have CP3 or Booker ISO the ball to try to kill the clock while limiting the chance of turnovers instead of being pass happy like we do all game and keep getting the ball stolen or even have a chance of that occurring. Limiting the passes is limiting the chances it gets stolen and them scoring. If the ball is in CP3's hands (And Bookers to a certain extent), its going to be rough for them to cough up the ball on their own. If we already have a lead, dont worry about running up the score, kill the clock and rely on our Defense. Its called......................

Raptors commentators were very complimentary about Ayton. Mentioned Suns sources who said he's a big difference maker and assistant coach who said he's the biggest concern for the second half. This just to make it clear other announcers and fanbases are not disrespecting DA all the time like some here try to make you believe.

This Boucher guy on the Raptors reminds me of Smith body-wise, skill-wise(shooting 3s, some scoring inside) there is also similarity. Hopefully Jalen can have similar production in the future.

I disagree. Why go away from what works only because it's the end of the game? It doesn't make much sense. Keep playing the ball that gave you lead in the first place.

Nice win on the road, the team played hard and with effort all game long. These Raptors team have a very good starting five but they have not any depth. That's their biggest problem IMO.

Ayton and CP3 played great, they were the players of the game.

Book didn't have a good offensive game but he played good defense.

Mikal and Cam were efficient, that board from Mikal won the game for us.

30 wins already...after so many bad years I can not believe it!

In a turn of events we haven’t seen from him in his young career so far, Booker is 3-of-18 from the field in the fourth quarter of the last seven games. He was 0-for-4 against the Raptors and missed two shots with the Suns up by two and under 70 seconds left.

This is a bit concerning but he’s a great enough scorer that I think he’ll figure it out.

This is related to the iso complaints, but does anyone else cringe when devin booker demands the ball in the last 1:30? I know he's hit a couple big shots but more often than not he **** up pretty bad.

Yes, we need to stick to our regular offense with motion and ball movement. Booker's turnovers come when he holds onto it and gets trapped and then tries to pass or takes a bad shot.

CP3 needs to handle the ball at the end of games. I don't mind Book taking a last shot if it's a set play like we did against Dallas.
