I don’t expect us to end up with Drummond. He’ll go be second string somewhere else I guess.

Lakers are probably offering the starting spot, he will probably sit on the bench in the clutch, but its likely the best chance at meaningful minutes in a championship team

They started McGee last year, I think they will start big, finish small

As long as he doesn’t go to Boston, NY or Miami. We can’t be having that right now.

The NBA is doing a lousy job of keeping balance in the league. Let the best players get together in Miami, Brooklyn, LA? No problem. Everyone else can go take a flying leap out of hot-air balloon.

It does feel like a million lifetimes ago that the Chris Paul trade was vetoed.

So we didn't even pursue Dieng. Interesting.

I’m actually ok with that.

I don’t think he’s an upgrade over Cody and/or Biz, and it’s not like he’s some young unproven dude with untapped potential I’d like to bring in and roll the dice on.

Whelp, looks like it's just gonna be Biz and Cody.

Would be an upgrade over Biz, now that Zeller has been banished. But we're a small market that's not an attractive ring-chasing destination. Also, I hear NY needs a big and has lots of cap room.

I have no idea how Cousins isn’t on a roster right now. He looked plenty capable to me in the first Houston game. I’d be happy if we signed him.

More on Drummond and the Hornets' failed attempt to find a new center. He is still on the radar for next summer, as is Richaun Holmes.

Good find, if all that's true. Sounds like the kind of conversations Mitch would have.

Looks like teams around the league want picks, not players. Indy probably wanted Washington, Zeller and a first. Glad Kupchak said no to that, if it were the case. And I'm less desiring of Drummond at a large, large salary. Holmes for $20M per? Yikes. And now we know why all the pundits think Charlotte is keeping Graham. His cap hold is, like, $10M less than Monk's.

I'm much more interested in Holmes than Drummond if we have to pay top dollar.

We already know how Drummond acts when he gets paid (demands to get fed touches in situations where he sucks or he pouts) and it was so detrimental to his on-court impact that he got dropped essentially for free by two of the worst teams in the association. Holmes might still have a little fire and embrace his role as rebounder/rim-runner after his pay day.

We just need to improve the C spot and it can’t be by doing something stupid like we did with Dwight Howard. Can’t we just try Cousins?

I wouldn’t mind, but maybe league people know something we don’t?
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.
