Mike Budenholzer remains incapable of making high IQ adjustments on either end. Our typical bully ball/isolation playbook on offense and a middle school level zone after the first quarter is the reason we lost. Something needs to shake at some point.

Re: PG: Clippers - Kennard + Mr. October = Loss
In Europe, they teach coaches that a basic zone defense is preferred when the team consists of short players (on average) with quick legs.
The advantage of the basic zone is to cover as much space in the field and secure the rebound by 'boxing-out' the opponents.
The disadvantage is that if you have players with slow legs and the opponent knows how to circulate the ball in the perimeter, then it becomes a problem. This is exactly what happened tonight. Having BroLo in the center of the zone was an invitation for 3-point festival.
Of course there are complex forms of zones where you have dedicated, capable, players (outside the zone plan) to 'chase' players that do the most damage at any given night. But that's too much for Bud.

It will all be forgotten as soon as we have our next 5-0 streak
And then remembered again when we exit in the 2nd round.

Exactly. This is why I was posting to fire him even before the season started.
Somebody has to tell him this ...
You have been tested...
You have been measured...
And found out you are incapable to lead us to a Championship...
Thank you for your services here. Amazing runs at regular season basketball... we got the No1 Seed twice, Giannis got 2 MVPs, you got Coach Of the Year trophies ... 1000 times thank you, but we believe we aren't winning other trophies with you being the head coach.
(This should 've been told in summer 2020 or even at the early start of this season) ... We are too late.
Well it seems we keep losing to good coached teams and winning bad teams ... They are forcing me to not watch them ... I was thinking to stay awake at 03:00 am to watch vs Boston and vs Clippers BUT (luckily) I chose to went to sleep and it seems like I saved myself raging against Bud & Others... Oh well ... never mind me... Go Bucks I love you anyway
PS if Giannis rebounding has been reduced due to knee injury ... its time to rest him for a week or whatever needed cause we have paired him with the most allergic with the boards 7fter I have seen in my entire life. I hope Giannis is not stupid enough to play through injury for some wins or maybe hunting for his 3rd MVP trophy. I am not sure he can retain himself.

Leanord goes 0 fer from 3 PG didnt play n they still shot 56% wow funny how teams can constantly have career nights shooting 3s against us.Teams must circle the bucks on their calender knowing that night they will have 3 hours of shooting practice

If Bryn is going to continue to play, he needs to be better than 2/5 from three, especially considering a couple he missed were very very good looks. At least with Merrill, every time he shoots I feel confident it's going in. Bryn... not so much.

Putrid defensive performance. Also the Clippers made everything they threw at the rim. Diakite needs more meaningful minutes with Portis and Tucker out.

There's a ton of **** to complain about Forbes, pretty much all of it completely valid, this on the other hand is WILD. He's literally top 10 in the league in three point percentage while chucking them at a rate putting him in the top 20 per 36. Him being noticeably better would put him in like greatest off all time shooter category.

Nope. We're down 2 of our best 7 players. If they're completely healthy and look like this come playoff time, then yes I'll be screaming.

So...like 3/5? I mean, in that sample size, there's a pretty huge gap between being an excellent three-point shooter and a cheat code three-point shooter, caused by one shot.

Defense was terrible last night; destroyed by guys like Kennard, Jackson, Mann, Morris.
Forbes shouldn’t be playing much with Teague and probably Rivers coming in.

Now give those minutes to Merrill and let's see what happens. How is it WILD to not want your 3 point specialist air balling open 3's? Something he's done numerous times this season. But yeah, per 36. Situational basketball is a thing, and I don't trust him in big moments.

I'm getting really tired of Brick Slowpez watching everything go by him.. looking forward to when PJ and Portis return so we can go back to small ball lineups.
I'm sober enough to know what I'm doing, and drunk enough to really enjoy doing it
