Cleveland will make a hard charge at some point and hell, Toronto might become a contender. I think Minny, Houston (even though they've played better) and Orlando are lost causes so we're looking at 4-6 potentially.

look at the roster OKC is playing with, they will be lucky to win 10 games the rest of the season

No thanks.
Dude was a combined 6-30 from the floor over the last two games. And a combined 0-7 from 3.
Can't spend that high a pick on someone who disappears when the pressure/spotlight is on.

Good thing is even if we finish 4th thru 6th we have a really good % chance at moving into the top 4. The new %'s mean the worst teams overall aren't heavily favored to get the top 3 picks anymore. Way more likely now that other teams can move up. Which is why at this point winning some games with the young guys isnt' the absolute worst, as long as we're doing it on the backs of the rookies.

I've been pretty high on Moody and am not one to flip flop often on prospects but he was absolutely putrid all tournament. Passive, soft and his usually dependable shot wasn't even close. I wouldn't exactly throw him out of the top 10 but I'd probably look elsewhere if/when the Pistons draft 6th.
Overall, it's been a pretty rough tournament for all the top guys. Cunningham struggled, Mobley has been meh, Suggs has been struggling with his shot, the Tennessee guys were ghosts, Bouknight struggled. No real "shining moments" for any of these guys.
With that said, this doesn't change the fact that it's still an above average draft at the top. There just doesn't appear to be any real superstars, which we kind of knew going into the season.

I used to watch him in highschool on overtime on youtube. Hes a high character kid. He was also really good at football. I could see him being a Weaver guy. Hes for sure a good start to a rebuild.
Cades still the prize of the draft though. Being 6’8 with his skillset cant pass that.

If Evan Mobley is the 1st/2nd best player in this draft, then we have been seriously misled as to the quality of this draft. As in, what are we tanking for?

Suggs just took the 2nd spot from Mobley and now he's two games away from a championship.

Would be sweet if Michigan could beat Gonzaga and stop their undefeated season.

Re: 2020-2021 NBA Prospects/ NBA Draft
See this is what i was saying about Cade in half one of his exit. I want a nba star to show up in these kind of games. Cade came to play in that 2nd half.
Though to be fair to Mobley hes playing vs a far far superior team in Gonzaga. Cade was on the far superior team in his game. That said abad games in the tourney does drop draft stock some as we see that Mobley can at times disappear.
I still see Mobley as a good prospect. I think his game translates well to the pros. Some people were hyping him as even the 1 pick but i think hes in the tier of Suggs,Green, him and i could see why someone would take any of them over the others. I still lean Mobley today at 2 but theirs alot of time to go and think before the draft.

Gonzaga is just a really well coached team that runs an nba style offense with NBA type spacing.
Yall don't realize that Mobley's been handicapped all year... playing with no-spacing yet still dominating.
Anytime you've got the 2 bigs leading the team in assists your going to lose in the NCAA which is guard driven.
Mobley will be twice as good in the NBA.
I got nothing bad to say about Suggs but Mobley is still 2 for me.

You need 2-way wings, 2-way shooting bigs, and you can't allow low iq players on the court. Assist/turnover ratio is crucial. Shooting point guards are icing on the cake IF they are plus defenders.
Weaver & Casey, govern yourselves accordingly!

I just watched two games in a row where he was completely invisible. Don't know what to tell you. Doesn't mean he's not good. Does mean I'm not taking him at the top of a draft.
