How exactly do the Clippers get 10 free throws and a lottery team gets 25 on the Clippers home floor?

Worse possible situation. Clippers lose and Kawhi played heavy minutes

It's just a game. A trap game we overlooked.

Kawhi passing the ball to Batum instead of forcing a shot when he had just gotten into the pain was the sign of how fatigued he was. He normally just attacks the rim or does a midrange jump shot in that situation.

There was definitely a foul on Patterson at the 3 point shot late in the game, probably few other calls we could have gotten.

Yet another predictable clutch time failure by this team. And we wonder why the Clippers are the butt of everyone else's jokes. Everyone knows this team is an overhyped paper tiger, not a threat to win anything serious in the playoffs. :noway:

Should've sat Kawhi out since everybody else was sitting. What a waste

With the win against the Bucks last night, this game doesn't bother me. Fatigue is fatigue is fatigue. And losing Morris right before the game also hurt since we were already down so many players. Anybody else with the crap takes after the 6 game win streak can join OKCfansinceSGA and go elsewhere with the BS

Short handed back 2 back isn’t that serious with how many games played. It’s a bad loss but we can bounce back

That six-game win streak didn't give us any separation in the standings:

Meanwhile, there's a good chance this loss comes back to bite us in the ass later. This is just last year all over again with people making excuses for every loss and not wanting to acknowledge the blatant red flags.

Kawhi usually would of sat this out to protect his leg. He could of played better of course but when he’s air balling jumpers and can’t keep up defensively it’s clear he’s exhausted. 4 other starters were out and the young guys even looked burned out from carrying the load with people missing time.

Game like this it’s more about guys doing what needs to be done to get back

Can't stand that b*tch!! I knew he was mentally off. Weirdo piece of sh*t. Can't wait til OKC trades SGA with all those picks they have then he'll go d*ckryde the next team he's on. F**k him!!

"Short-handed back 2 back" has nothing to do with that 11-0 run. We have statistically the worst, or at least one of the worst clutch time offenses in the league. It's just an extremely unclutch team.

You know that's right, bro. We both knew it was coming.

I made a lot of money figuring out how smart people think. On this board you're either playing Jeopardy or Family Feud. [I was on Jeopardy]

Time to cut the crap and find out who's healthy and who's not for the Denver game on Thursday. Wish Kawhi would've sat tonight. What's up with Ibaka?

I'm enraged. What an awful loss.

The blame falls on Ty Lue. Why was Kawhi playing so many minutes last night when we were up 20 at one point? When we're up 20, BENCH HIM don't play him an extra 3 minutes to end the game. Why was Terrence Mann, a superior rebounder and defender to trash ass Luke Kennard not in the game in the 4th when multiple times we gave up easy fouls bc of Luke and were getting destroyed in the paint?

Why did Nick Batum forget how to play basketball and had 3 of some of the worst TO's I've ever seen?

Why is our training staff and front office so inept we had 6 guys out and could only field 8 people? Morris, Bev, PG, etc aren't getting any younger. Do people realize this will be even worse next year w the exact same team?

Disagree totally w esqtvd. This loss is not on Kawhi whatsoever. When you are the only competent offensive player in the game AND the team starts ISOing him in the 3rd quarter, of course he is going to run out of gas.

The Magic totally outplayed us in the 2nd half. Whether that is bc we were tired or whatever, we lost to a team that just traded 4 of their 5 starters away and looked totally inept on offense.

I'm done with Luke Kennard. People trashed Lou Will and Trez all last season but do people WATCH how awful Kennard is on defense?? Constantly fouling players, getting blown by, switched on... it's a disaster. If his shot isn't falling I can't think of a worse player to put on the court. Even Pat Patterson looks better.

Whereas on the contrary, despite an off shooting night, TMann is one of the best rebounders and defenders on our team. I also have to give props to Amir Coffee who should be TAKING Kennard's minutes. A sweet stroke AND plays defense? We need him to get way more minutes.

A BAD loss. Absolutely ZERO **** excuses for the Nuggets game about being tired or injured... it is arguably our most important game of the season. **** Ty Lue with his awful rotations to end the 4th AND playing Kawhi way too many minutes last night when the game was out of hand.

Ruined a great 6 game winning streak, we are still a joke. GET HEALTHY. GET OUR REGULAR TEAM PLAYING TOGETHER. GET PG IN THE CORNER SHOOTING 3'S.

Same, Kawhi should have sat. He was absolutely gassed and we need him good for Thursday.

Ibaka is not even practicing yet.

Knee injuries like what PG and Bev have dont just "go away" they need rest to heal and can easily get re-aggresvated. Very very concerning for our playoff chances especially since Lue appears to be running Kawhi into the ground just like Tom Thibs
