Nope. We're down 2 of our best 7 players. If they're completely healthy and look like this come playoff time, then yes I'll be screaming.

PJ is not one of the best 7 players. I've railed on Forbes forever, but at least he does something well. PJ's at best 9th best.

This won't age well I'd guess. PJ is a proven time and time again 3 and D specialist which is exactly what we need next to Giannis everyday and in the playoffs.

Teams in a playoff series will scheme Forbes off the court by attacking him on D, getting him switched onto mismatches and scoring on him over and over like they did to Korver. My guess is the FO hoped Bud could scheme around him and stagger his time with Middleton so there aren't 2 traffic cones on the court at once but he's unlikely to get meaningful time unless something changes drastically with his D so expect a lot more PJ than Forbes as the year goes on.

Have you made a post that was either apt at the moment or aged well? If so, you know what they say about broken clocks.

Basketball is a funny sport though it could be more simply than just playing good solid D.
Clips torch the bucks by hitting 56% of their 3s then against orlando hit only 33% and lose in LA so it beckons the question bad O by the clips or great D by orlando.
Great O by the clips against milwaukee or putrid D by the bucks

Pretty interesting stat

Milwaukee Bucks: Opponents’ Wide-Open 3-Pointers
Problem: Bucks opponents are hoisting 20.2 “wide-open” 3-pointers per game, according to NBA Advanced Stats, which defines them as attempts with at least 6 feet between the shooter and defender. Only the Hornets have allowed more. And that’s not just a function of Milwaukee’s scheme allowing more 3s in general; 52 percent of the 3s they allow are wide open, the third-highest mark in the league.

The Bucks also led the league in wide-open 3s allowed in each of the last two seasons under Mike Budenholzer. What’s different this season is that shooters are nailing those shots more often—both across the league and especially against the Bucks.

That certainly aligns with the eye test. Bud's always talked about forcing the "bad" shooters to take those shots, but with more players at all positions focusing on the 3-ball, there aren't nearly as many "bad" shooters left, resulting in more made 3s and worse overall defense. Bud needs to keep up with the times.

Watching bud for the last 3 years is like watching MM his last 4 years with the packers. You knew MM was never going to ever adjust game to game no matter what the other team was doing.I feel bud is MM long lost brother his failure to adjust is now becoming a epic failure. His post game interview after every loss could be replayed over n over again yet no one calls him out.At least in packerland some reporters would question his game decisions

While it doesn't seem to be working, I do feel I've seen a lot more variety this season as far as switching and a sprinkling of zone. Way more than previous years. As I said, doesn't appear to be working but we'll see. He's trying.

you seem to be missing the most likely explanation: luck.
