Brewers/Twins Opening Series

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Wed Mar 31, 2021 5:13 pm

Weird off day Friday since we know opening day won't be postponed.

Thursday - 1:10 - Woodruff vs. Maeda
Saturday - 6:10 - Burnes vs. Berrios
Sunday - 1:10 - Houser vs. TBA
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Got that sweet vaccine today and I'm gonna use it as an excuse to work from home tomorrow. Probably gonna make some brats and pick up a six pack of my favorite beer on the way home tonight.

Perfect! Especially if you have no side effects. I didn't (shot 2 is Friday).

Shot #2 you may just FYI, but hopefully you don’t!

Yeah I hear #2 is the one that may knock you down for a day or two. Worth it though.

I have a bunch of clients that said no effects from shot 2 and some that got sick, seems like it can vary quite a bit from person to person.

Any thoughts on line up? I'd like to see Wong leading off, Yeli/Huira 3/4 and Cain/JBJ/Garcia mostly manning 2 and 5. Assuming 6-8 will usually be 3b/c/ss.

I got my first dose last week. Can't wait to get the second shot in a few weeks.

Brewers with some pretty significant restrictions for people attending.

My sister said it felt like her foot was broken after her second dose. Have heard of some other weird stories too. But they all seem to go away after 24 hours. Anyway, grats to you guys!

I am excite. It's time for baseball.

I know from the chatter we expected Urias to be starting at SS, but I was still irrationally (or maybe very rationally) worried that we'd give it to Arcia and that Urias would have to "earn his way" during the season in spot opportunities.

Anybody on that injured list likely to displace anyone? I'd say that was about what I was expecting more or less.

Love Urias starting. He's a pretty big unknown against MLB pitching but feel his ceiling is way higher than Arcia's. Also cool to see Cain in there.

Tim Dillard is the opposite of Steve Novak so far. So that's something?

I believe he will also be filling in for Rock when Rock takes some time off during the season. I don't know how he'll do on games but he's always been entertaining.
